  1. Do you see any scenario where the Thrun trade is packaged with more to possibly acquire K’Andre Miller?

  2. If Thrun can be included in a trade with the Rangers for K'Andre Miller, then would be ideal. GMMG better get a discount from Drury for taking Goodrow off his hands

  3. Eklund isn’t going to be a PP1 contributor forever and is 50/50 at best to ever have a point-per-game season. He’s a quality, versatile player who will have a long career. He’s a cornerstone and needs to be locked up, but 8.5 over 8 is more than necessary. Zetterlund was going to get bumped down the lineup sooner than later and wanted a new deal like a top-6 so it was see-ya.

If Henry Thrun is on a different team next year, I suspect it’s more likely because he got waived. Even then, he’d probably clear and be a Cuda. If Jimmy Schuldt isn’t brought back, it might telegraph that possibility. Thrun’s advanced stats are putrid and not surprising or appealing. If the Sharks bring in a better LHD, Thrun is the first man out one way or another.

  4. Has anyone ever considered manipulating the cap by signing Eklund to a giant 1 yr contract. And then resign him to a long term lower AAV contract?
