The recipe for winning this series for Oilers, is to go back to what you did in the first 3 series. Someone changed everything up and y’all went right back to how you lost so many this whole year. No one was chasing pucks, or passing to someone, just chucking the puck doesn’t count. Chipping and chasing is NOT working guys!!! STAY OFF THE WALL! You keep passing rhe exact same way you have all year, and it’s done nothing to contribute, except contribute to their strategy on routine movements which you guys have a stupid amount of plays that are predictable. During their rush, why the hell are the D line inviting them into our zone for tea!???!!! Every series this playoffs you’ve cut off their access and it limited a huge amount of looks, but suddenly it’s easier to allow them to set up their forecheck before fighting the puck? See how stupid this sounds???
You guys have an AMAZING team and we are insanely proud of you guys. But we want the cup just as badly, and that won’t happen unless you start playing like you did with Vegas and LA. Come on! Switch back to that playing style and stay unpredictable on entries and passes! You have that talent in spades!

Edmonton are losing because of the lack of balls and leadership from the most overrated NHL player ever.

Ya I agree for the oilers top players. The whole Florida 18 skaters time on ice is much more even game after game. And now Edmonton has no choice but to put it all out there, and if they do somehow win the won’t have much left for game 7. I give them about a 5% chance to pullout a series win. It may have been lost in the first four games. The UFC or Boxing effect. Come out swinging in the first two round and get knocked out in the third because you wore yourself out.

It’s not about gas. It’s about the west being much less skilled. The Atlantic division is soo good. That pacific division and the whole western conference is weak. They aren’t that good. You need a team. Not two players.
Definitely. At least in that game. No speed or physicality to respond to the Panthers attack. Its a game no nhl fan wants, for the other team to be blown out. Not even close to equal competition. Fans of the Oilers will give up on them if they keep playing like this. Oilers need to respond physically and stay out the box. Get on the scoreboard. They haven't been doing it until the Panthers get 3+ goals in. Not good. Panthers have home ice advantage going into game 6. It looks like they wanna end things here!!!
This is exactly what Florida is all about. Physically wearing out the other team through the series. The longer the series goes in the tougher it is for the other team. Not rocket science

The Panthers are a better team. Kind of plain and simple. Want the Oilers to win. But they don't compare to the power of the Panthers.
This serious would have been 4 straight if it wasn't for two miraculous comebacks…for the majority of the serious Florida has been a better team.

Simple way to understand how poorly the Oilers are playing in this series right now: Connor McDavid has only scored ONE goal in the entire series. Brad Marchand has scored SIX. ??? No hockey analyst anywhere could have predicted this. They all expected McDavid to be the scoring leader, not Marchand. What Marchand is doing is historic, and what McDavid is doing is the exact opposite. Either McDavid starts scoring, and Oilers shut down Brad Marchand, or Oilers don't win Stanley.
You would have thought the Oilers would have come out with a blazing effort on home ice in Game 5 with a chance to take control in the series.
And yet…..the Panthers outworked them. Again. Dominated the 1st 40 minutes. Oilers had a bit of pushback in the 3rd but it wasn't enough obviously. Not even close in fact. The Panthers are simply better. Not to mention the Oilers have another issue on their hands now….who do they start in goal for Game 6? The 'debate' will bounce back & forth leading up to Game 6. While that's going on….the Panthers quietly are staying focused. They know what's up. The 4th win is always the toughest one. But the Panthers seem more than capable of being able to close it out.
But guys didnt you know? The refs were paid off by Bettman 😂😂😂. Thats why marchand scored as many goals as the entire Edmonton team in the last game 😂😂

Marchand alone has terrified the Oilers. he's a wrecking ball of skill and tenacity with energy to burn. i don't even understand how he does it. he gets better, stronger, faster every year. it's insane.
WTF out of gas? Florida has been in 3 straight finals and has completely dominated the Oilers every game this series. The entire Oilers organization should be embarrassed and ashamed with themselves. In an ideal world, none of the current Oilers should ever again be allowed to wear the Oilers logo after this.

Edmonton isn't as deep as Florida. Florida's role players have showed up big time and they're not even getting top production from their top guys. Florida is going to finish this on their terms one way or another
