First year as a Senator in the bag, what does Linus Ullmark’s think about playing in Ottawa?
so Lenus you got your first experience of playoff hockey in Ottawa you just finished your first year here how would you characterize your first year in the city what have you experienced what have you enjoyed what do you think of the community i’ve had a great time both me and my family has been thriving almost I would say since day one it has been a very easy transition I would say i mean I’ve moved three times in my career so this time around we knew what to expect things were were easier and we knew prior what we needed for our family to thrive from the get-go and so that was you know one of the points that we brought up in the beginning before season started when uh media was asking about contracts here or a contract there we put so much emphasis on getting all those sort of things sorted out prior to the season once it rolled around that it was time to make a a decision we were very happy with our decision and then throughout the year that decision came to grow like stronger and stronger and I started to you know feel that at the end of the year that yeah you know I don’t regret a single thing of signing you know a multi-year ticket here in Ottawa if you sign a ticket like that and you end up going being last in the league obviously there’s going to be some doubts in your head but seeing how the team evolved throughout the season and seeing how players evolved and and changed throughout for the better we don’t just see the light you know we’re at the at the end of the tunnel now it’s just about taking those last steps which are typically the hardest ones to do but it’s been a fun ride so
With his first year as a Senator in the bag, what are Linus Ullmark’s impressions on signing, living and playing in the nation’s capital?

I love how he talks. He's eloquent, confident and just candid enough to satisfy fans. He went through some adversity this season so we can see how he handled that and I was really impressed with how he handled himself.
We got a good one, a really good one. I am STOKED for next year. Just like look the playoffs now, we'd easily beat Carolina if not for the laffs,, who I think might be doing some restructuring
