Penguins are not holding Crosby hostage. If he wanted to get traded, he would be. He just wants to stay in Pittsburgh to end his career. They can easily rebuild with him on the roster.

Carbonneau is a spoiled jerk. Trade up a few spots for Lynden Lakovic, then Logan Hensler with the other first rounder. Hensler's career path identical to Brock Faber.
Daniil But is the same size as Prokhorov, and had much better MHL stats at the same age. But still looks a long way from the NHL.
they aren't getting crosby, maillioux, beck and 2 mid range picks aren;t getting you a 2C, I think they make both picks. Hensler, Lokvic, Bear, some other decent players will be there
