Marner to the Ducks makes sense to me, that team is set to to be in playoff contention soon, they played some decent hockey for the first time in years last year and are as far from the east as possible.
Bennett stays with Florida, Marchand goes to Minnesota, and Marner…stays with Leafs despite wanting to leave. Marchand can get his lifetime supply of DQ which is headquartered in Minneapolis. I think Leafs will be desperate and provide a massive overpay that Marner can't refuse (Godfather reference)
If marchand went to the rangers that would be probably the biggest shock because its not even close tp any destination he would likely take. Would be great for shock value though.
