Thursday, the Panthers led 3-0 after the first period on a pair of power-play goals from Matthew Tkachuk and one from Anton Lundell.
Edmonton scored three in the second then took a 4-3 lead late in the third before Sam Reinhart tied it in the final seconds of regulation. Leon Draisaitl won it in overtime.
Sergei Bobrovsky ended with 30 saves.

Just can't ever be complacent. Panthers can be up 10 – 0 in the first period, I want them to be just as aggressive in the 2nd and 3rd. It's the Stanley Cup finals, you can't take a shift off, you can't coast to a victory, you can't ever be comfortable. You have to be unrelenting in every category.
I know that's much easier said than done, but that has to be the mindset.
