Lol, yeah, you’re neutral lol It was Ekholm’s fault. He should have bailed the moment the puck missed the net 🥅 but he stood there admiring his shot. He should have been about a foot (maybe less) from the blue line to break up, the breakaway. Bouchard is a GREAT defender but his instincts are offence not defence, so you can’t expect him to start bailing because it’s not in his nature but it is in Ekholm’s nature, the breakaway was on Ekholm.
PS. I didn’t know that #88 Nate Schmidt is such an excellent defenceman; did anyone else?

I would not have had a problem if they called Goal Tender Interferance if they called it when it happened. but they didnt. they waited until the crowd coerced them in to makeing the call like 2 minutes later. it doesnt seem impartial at that point. if you are going to call it call it. if you arent the worst thing you can do is cave and call it later

If I'm Edmonton in game 3 I dress 8 d men. My 4th line is Josh Brown, Trent Frederick and Darnell Nurse. As soon as Bennett hits the ice Brown goes on and just dummies him. It's his job until he gets kicked out, then it's Fredrick's job until he gets kicked out, then it's Nurses job until he gets kicked out. Then it's Kane's job if Bennett gets with in 5 feet of the crease until he gets kicked out. Ya Edmonton looses game 3 probably at this point but it sends a message to Florida and the league on the NHL's biggest stage, that intentionally trying to injure someone is not acceptable. Telling the league if you want to showcase hockey take control of your damn league, if you want a gong show keep doing what your doing.
As a boston fan I hope he gets another cup he deserves it

Panthers play the long game. Bennett is creating havoc in front of Skinner. By Game 4 Skinner is going to be a nervous wreck with a Panther on his doorstep. All he's thinking about is not getting run over during the scrum out front on every shot taken. That's when Skinner is going to make mistakes. Tkachuk patted him on the chest because Bennett is sticking to the series game plan.
Bennett has learned to act like a screaming goat in front of the crease. Any contact and he falls awkwardly onto the goalie.
