  1. Walman was dumped by the Red wings so that they could have another below average season. Look who's in the spotlight now?

  2. People don’t realize how those clappers require skill. As much as any fancy move or dangle.

The positioning, timing, execution, are absolutely perfect. The stick hits the ice just behind the puck to get that extra flex from the shaft and WOOSH ! Didn’t see the speed but almost sure it’s above 90 mph.

  3. I keep watching this, and like… some guys have entire 15 year careers and never get a chance like that. That shot was PERFECTLY teed up for him. It really was once-in-a-lifetime.

  4. We love the Walman and miss him here in Michigan. He put his body and soul into that rocket of a shot. So glad to see him prospering after leaving us. Rock on, man!

  5. Looked like Bobrovsky dropped the glove to cover the sweet spot just above the pad and the Walman shot was where the glove would have and could have been if he hadn't done that. It was so freaking fast, we love the Walman. But having been between the pipes in college a few times, I know how difficult (and FUN) it is to be a goalie. Respect to Bob for a great game.
