Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is taking home some hardware this season, winning the Vezina Trophy as the league’s top goaltender and the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player. Was Hellebuyck deserving of the Hart Trophy? TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.

100% yes. He earned BOTH of those trophies (and the Jennings) this year.
I say what a stupid question to ask , but this is TSN in the end !
No! Easy,
Dont think hes the best player. How can the best player fumble so bad in the playoffs
Conor, u have to win the cup like Bob and shut the mouth up of haters
Everyone could see what the Jets are "without" Connor Hellebuyck in the playoffs, so this is probably fully deserved. He was the main reason for them winning the President's. Just a great great great reg season player. Kucherov could have won, too. Draisaitl was the best player but the NHL can't afford to reward such an obvious load-management.
Yes. Any of the 4 guys in the conversation absolutely deserved to win. But there can be only one so even if helle wasn't my favorit I won't rage about it.
BUT after the playoffs… If the league needs any case to change their timing for the awards it should be this one.
If it's a regular season award, then please just award the guys after the regular season. Why are we waiting 1 month?
A slap to Martin Brodeur's face
By his reaction he doesnt even think he should have got the hart
It’s pretty funny for the”MVP” to accept the award on the lake, nowhere near the finals hahah.
No
He'd have been more valuable if he'd taken fewer starts so he wouldn't suck in the playoffs. Again.
TSN would not be able to contain themselves if Mathews won three awards in one year let alone ask if he deserved it in response.
Nope, LD29 has 4 GWG in the playoffs and 11 during the season
Yes
