sam Bennett was taught to always show up in the big moments He’s stonefaced like he’s there’s no emotion on him whatsoever That’s the leading goal scorer of the National Hockey League playoffs This group this year how much better are you than a year ago Yeah I think you know we’re definitely different this year but we’re we’re more experienced than last year We brought in some great guys with great leadership great experience Yeah however good we were last year I do believe that we are even better this year just with the the the guys we brought in and how we’ve handled the last three years I think it’s just helped us It’s helped me I think it’s made me a better player and I think it’s made every single guy on our team a better player as well Mar scores Brad Marant What’s one thing about him that you heard which is definitely true And what’s one thing you heard about him now that you know him which was definitely not true I mean the one thing I heard about him is that uh I was going to love him right away And that turned out to be true I I found it hard to believe after uh all the battles we had against each other and but yeah he’s just one of the great teammates that I’ve I’ve got to play with and he’s really brought a lot to this team for sure I’ve uh loved getting to to play with him Was there anything you heard about him that wasn’t true I can’t think of anything Okay Are you a Dairy Queen guy too by the way or No Uh I was not part of that crew No Okay No Okay But that uh that wasn’t true about the he wasn’t eating he wasn’t eating ice cream in the in between periods That would have been kind of ridiculous Okay He doesn’t really care if you’re the team’s top player your goalender Doesn’t really matter He’s going to bump into you He’s going to make life difficult for you He’s going to hit you try to hurt you It’s been a loud playoffs around you Does it ever get tiring Do you ever say “I need to change I don’t need to put up with this aggravation anymore.” Uh no that’s never crossed my mind I think it’s the the greatest honor to be able to play hockey in in June It’s uh it’s what everyone wants to do and not very many people get the chance to do it So uh I try not to take that for for granted [Music]

I had Edmonton winning, even if they played Florida again. Well, thats what I thought until they played game 1. Oilers are much better this year then last, but Florida is much deeper. They have 3 lines that can bang every night. You have the best goalie in the world in Bob. Arguably this year they are better then last. Adding guys like Marchy and Jones is almost unfair. They are putting up 5 and 6 goals on really good teams. Oilers might get by with one more win but it won't matter in the end.
