the Roger kroer 1975 76 OPG number 350 hockey card written on the back of the card won caller trophy as top rookie and was first team NHL All-Star at 1964-65 Roger played his 500th game last year a closer look Roger crer had some big skates to fill going into the 1964 65 NHL season Terry Sauk was off to the Toronto M Poli and kroer with his 15 games of NHL experience took over the number one goal tending role with the Detroit at Red Wings he played all 70 regular season games for the the wings that year putting up a 2.42 goals against average and six shutouts incredibly three of those six shutouts came before the month of October was over in a four-game stretch between October 21st and October 29th Roger had three shutouts and allowed just a single goal in a 1-1 tie with the Montreal Canadians John Ferguson got the lone goal for the Habs in the game it took until 1511 of the third period and was on the power play kroer earned the cder trophy edging out tron’s Ron Ellis and was named the first team All-Star goalie with Charlie of the Canadians taking second team honors the following year he led the Red Wings to the Stanley Cup Final and was given the KMI trophy despite Detroit at losing to the Canadians between 1963-64 and 1976-77 Roger croser appeared in 518 regular season and 32 playoff games in the National Hockey League with the Red Wings Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals he was originally a prospect of the Chicago Blackhawks
