the jilber perau 1976 77 op number 180 hockey card written on the back of the card Buffalo’s leading scorer in 1975 76 one of the most exciting players in the NHL expert playmaker and former winner of the CER and Lady Bing trophies a closer look gilp led the Sabers in 1975-76 with 69 assists and 113 points Danny gar was a team leader in goals with 50 he was third in the race for the art Russ trophy 12 points behind leader Gila Flur and six behind Bobby Clark his 69 assist placed him in a three-way tie for third in the NHL was Jean rattel and LF Flur despite his Hockey Hall of Fame career the two trophies mentioned would be the only individual Awards he would receive in the NHL he took home the cder trophy as NHL rookie of the year in 19771 after the first overall pick led the expansion Sabers and scoring his ladyb win came in 1972-73 when he accumulated just 10 minutes in penalties while contributing 88 points he was a second team All-Star twice between 19771 and 1986 87 jilbert perau played 1,1 91 regular season and 90 playoff games in the National Hockey League all with the Buffalo Sabers in 1990 he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and had his number 11 retired by the Sabres he is the only player to ever wear that number in franchise history
