Ah, Minnesota sports. I was a soccer referee and they were the big team on the men's and women's side in the state. They had a game against a club team from an upstate college. The club team didn't have enough players and went into the mess hall and asked for players on the morning of the game. They had one girl on their team, and she came in at one time. The Minnesota team came out and played outstanding soccer, often making 20 to 25 passes in the penalty area. But they wouldn't shoot and couldn't score. And the club team played like St Peters. They had one counter-attack, and scored. Minnesota played and passed and shot and nothing went in.
They tried to blame me, but I had nothing to do with their arrogance.
