  1. I’ve had Perbix on my off season targets list for the last two months and am very glad he’s getting some attention. Extremely solid moneyball pickup if we can’t land Fabbro

  2. Low cost options are not helpful (cap floor) unless GMMG does something like take on the Carey Price contract and even then, its just this coming season. I do like Perbix and would be happy to see Grier pay up in a meaningful way for him. Less term, more $$. if its money not well spent, so be it. If he shines in a bigger role, great!! I'd be fine if its 4x$4mil

  3. Perbix is good, remains to be seen how well hed do with less talent around him but he would be a solid addition. Only 26 would be a good move

  4. Thank you for the episode and all the research you are doing to hunt down players that could help the Sharks next season.

I can see giving Perbix a shot as a last resort sort of thing. I am hoping that GMMG is not acquiring players he "hopes" can be better than they have been their entire careers.

The other two should be ran away from and never look back as both are horrible. I do not think that in this stage of the rebuild GMMG should be looking for reclamation projects or players hoping to flip them for more draft capitol next season.

He already has a roster full of them as only Toffoli and the current ELCs are the only players signed past next season.

He does not need cap space and I think they are past tanking for McKenna. They better be after GMM stated he is building now.

Getting players to flip and reclamation projects was previous seasons, it is build time baby. GMMG need to acquire players to keep to raise the talent level of the team.

I agree with your thoughts on supporting Asky as he will be playing his season with the Sharks, but that should never mean getting defensemen that are defensive liabilities like Jokiharju.

Like you said, he needs to build from the backend out. A couple of middle six forwards would be nice though as you stated (and I agree) that Will Smith needs friends for his line.
