Martone is only in play if the top 5 are Schaeffer, Misa, Hagens, Frondell, Desnoyers. If you leave a centre on the board to take Martone, then Briere would need to be introducing Elias Petterson to the Philly media before he fields any questions on the draft and centres.

One thing id like asked / answered is how many of these kids have even a possible chance of making the big club in 2025?
The Stanley Cup Finals should be one day between games in the same city, two days for travel and then, to build drama, if the series goes 7 two days for travel following game 6 and one for drama. The NHL is doing the NBA thing without the National appeal. With that said I hope Edmonton beats the Panthers !!
Calling a draft weak or strong is pretty ridiculous because usually you cannot tell the quality of the draft picks until 3-5 years down the road… Just pick well!!! With these picks, the Danny Briere regime will inevitably be defined by this upcoming draft!!!
