Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery is the recipient of the 2024-25 Jack Adams Award, presented to the head coach “adjudged to have contributed the most to his team’s success” as voted by members of the NHL Broadcasters’ Association. Carbery’s family helped surprise him with the news at Monumental Sports Network studios.

I knew he would win this. Even though the Caps didn't go on in this year's playoffs Spencer did a great job with the time he had. Maybe next year will be the Caps' year!🎉

On his big night he's telling other people to enjoy it. Thats unusual and look into his selfless mind which seems to be where his power as a coach comes from. His high empathy and understanding of non-linear processes. How things affect other things like a ripple effect. It's like he has an eagle eye view instead of being stuck in his own head.
