The Kroenkes also own the LA Rams and put like 8B dollars into building SoFi Stadium, including apartments, shopping, etc. Soon to be the same for the Avs and Nuggets.
Why go back to ATL? Yes big city but they really don’t support sports. hawks and Braves don’t seem to have great attendance. Don’t know about the Falcons
Atlanta's most recent expansion (thrashers) was an $80 million dollar expansion like the other late 90s team and the ownership group was a mess. Atlanta with a billion dollar owner would be an easy market to enter, same as Arizona with a competent owner and facility. Stop comparing back to these ancient and underfunded expansion efforts to what they talk about now with billionaires who are willing to spend
