The Nashville predators are a DISASTER This season, even after spending over 100 million dollars on their roster in the offseason. How could this happen?
it is always tricky to dissect these types of scenarios. Marchy and Skjei we all i think expected better performances from them. However, the stamkos thing is a bit different. A lot of people expected him to immediately fit in while the reality is when a player has been with one organization for as long as he has, it is no easy task to adjust especially if it wasn't his initial plan or anyones plan really. This was kind of a last minute signing after the Lightning barely made an effort to communicate with him about keeping him or parting ways which is what makes it insulting to me since the Lightning's renaissance all started with him and it is unlikely they would be the organization they have been if it wasn't for him saving it and carrying them in both good times and in bad. I still think he'll end this season with 30 goals at least i hope and if the preds don't make the playoffs, we'll just hope that next season will be a fresh start for those that truly need it and a decent amount of time after unforeseen events are more in the back burner of their lives. Point being is that it is human nature to gradually get comfortable with a new team after being with one for so long. At least thats the norm with him, Marchy and Skjei not really sure what is up with them since they've moved around quite a bit but hopefully they can get it together. I am not even a preds fan too btw I am just analyzing it how i see it.
