Problem with them, I don't see why their current teams wouldn't sign them or just tie any offersheet. But seriously, any of those would be good in Montreal, imho.

Making the playoffs has made things more complicated lol I was ready to make the playoffs in a couple years but now there’s an expectation 🤦♂️
I’d pass on everyone of those centers expect Sid. Habs are in a bad need of size and grit, neither of those guys listed bring either. If they are looking at NH in Vegas, I’d assume Xhekaj is out the door unfortunately. Habs need a top4 rd to play with Hutson, ghule and DR together and someone with AC not named Matheson. It’s going to be an exciting July I believe, hopefully anyway
The dream would be Crosby of course. It’s probably not going to happen but we do need a big 2C for sure.

Hage is too on my list. The man is a beast and has been playing the right side. A worthy mention that was not discussed, Vegas needs to make ALOT of cap space because they plan to make a run at Marner. Hage is on the last year of under $3M and wants a raise, thus it would be that costly, like a Strubble or at worst Engstrom with a second round pick is what is being discussed. Strubble doesn’t have a future in MTL, he is a bottom 5 at best, hasn’t earned a spot on the PK and has zero offense to his game. And he only makes the league minimum.

Well it was obvious that Mailloux and Primeau were not in the mood to risk an injury for a team who treated them like crap. They are already thinking about playing in another NHL team next year.
