I want to see the oilers win, but Skinner is so A$$. He just lets in softies all the time.
If the panthers had anyone other than bob in net it would be a 2-0 series for the oilers.
If the oilers had anyone half decent in net it would be 2-0 oilers.
It’s not about the goal totals, it’s about the quality of the goals generally. Bob has let in 1 or 2 bad ones, but almost all of the goals against skinner have just looked awful.
The difference is Bob is making saves on what should be sure goals. Skinner looks like Swiss cheese. The oilers inability of being able to put something half decent behind perhaps the greatest duo ever is nothing short of a travesty.
EDM -1, REFS – 1. the officiating in the series has been atrocious. the refs need to not put their whistles away after the first period and actually call the penalties. there are rules in games for a reason: to make sure both teams are playing fair. as the dirtier team, the Panthers are getting away with dozen obvious penalties in the 2nd and 3rd periods of each game. what's the point of playing sports if they're not playing by the rules? just call the fucking penalties. players will stop taking them because they don't want to give the other team a PP.
Bennett the cheap shot artist and that clown patting him for taking out goalies Marchment the borrowed rat from that last placed team Boston on steroids or some sort of performance enhancing drugs i hear whats the NHL come too
I'm a little bitter and resentful towards this series. It really should've been Dallas, but we're always unable to take that step. We're the Leafs or Sharks of the 2020s. I still think we would've been destroyed by the Panthers, but I wanted the chance. The goal @1:55 shows exactly what the Stars did all series long. Three guys standing around letting one guy get multiple shots.

no one talking about how edmonton was near 50% on the powerplay at home (10/20) before the game and florida held that to 1/6 with a shorty
