It's the psychologists doing the interviewing who are helping the Habs grow into the champ we look forward to.
Desnoyers with Demidov would be a perfect fit . He is very similar to Suzuki in terms of having a solid two way game on top of point production .
But Martone is a beast, not the fastest skater but VERY physical and intimidating . More of a playmaker than a scorer , excellent at board battles and puck recovery so could be a good compliment for Demidov . Scouts compare him to Corey Perry .
Habs will have to give up more than draft picks to move up from 16th though …
C's are so important and there are a bunch of good looking centre prospects at the top of this draft. I am all for trading their 2 1st rounders to move up. Just wonder what else it would take to get into top 5
Do you see matheson plus a pick being moved for a top 6 forward then that forward being moved to Utah for the 4th pick?

Desnoyer looked fantastic during that playoff run but to get him it will take some magic from Hughes
16 + 17th + Matheson for 4th

Josh Roy belongs at #9 at best on that list. Dobes should be 5 or 6
but desnoyers didnt show up in the playoffs , i dont know if its a good or a bad thing for mtl

As much as I hate Rats, I would say I hate rats way more the MJ in Ben. And was that not a dark message.
