Filip Zadina left for Europe last year, he's in Davos, Switzerland. Zadina and Dominik Kubalik left pretty much the same time as Zadina, two of the top 2019-20 rookies left the NHL just like that.
Honestly at this point, I think Marner is staying in Toronto. Seems like he had multiple chances to be traded but he vetoed at least one of those trades. I have a feeling he's gonna stay.
