One 5 on 5, even-strength, goal, is not cutting it for a guy of Kyrou's gravitas but you don't trade him since he's good for the regular season but he regressed from the 2022 playoffs from a point per game basis. While his regular season numbers have risen from last year, they are still down from 2022 and 2023.

I can’t understand why everybody keeps harping on this. Jordan kyrou has improved every year. The last three years he has lead our team with 35 3734 goals. We have no other player that has done that. Yes I realize some of my regular season goals. Most of them are but you have to have them to get to the playoffs and he got rocked really hard and that series with Winnipeg right back and yeah, maybe it affected in his play. but he’s still learning some people take longer and yeah, I’m a little partial because I named my dog kyrou but let’s face it goal scores it score 30+ goals in three years in a row are not common in the nhl matter fact that’s the only one the blues have. I don’t know. I’d like to see Jordan kyrou stay with the blues. And Miss Holloway did not help because them to play very well together anyway, just my opinion leave kyrou be
I do agree with you. The pressure is on him because of his contract which nowadays if a player scored 30+ goals every year that’s not horrible contract but you’re right he gets the spotlight on because he’s one of the highest paid players on the team.
I would rather have Scheinder for NYR over Miller
i know they want to shake things up in NYR
so why not mika Z (yes know his contract is steep). But he would fill the need as #2 C. and also Schneider. For Buchy, Faulk, and maybe add Jirichek, and Stancl…or 2 or 3 mid prospects.

Correct – don’t trade Kyrou. Krug’s LTIR opens up cap space for the Blues to add to this up and coming team.
