    DeBoer on his post presser basically threw Otter under the Bus for two seasons not just one. A bit of a c***t comment. Hopefully Pete changed out that tampex that seemed to be wedged and bothering him during that post presser.

    As a vgk fan, dallas is too talented and deep not to make the finals, hope they find a good coach to get that team over the hump. I just want to see good competitive hockey being played.

    DeBoer didn't like Fleury and gave him away for a bag of chips tokeep Lehner…we saw how that worked out for him….btw, Dallas STILL stinks! 😂

    Bad move. I'm sorry but the Stars can't get over the hump for 3 years in a row. Yeah he ripped Ottinger, so what? We don't know what happens behind the scenes, what he saw from Ottinger daily that maybe led to ripping him

    I’m friends with the former COO/President of the Sharks who was there when Pete was there. He can’t say enough nice things about the guy, and I agree. Best coach the Sharks ever had.

    Otter deserved that criticism. Players are too delicate to handle any chirps. Wasn't this way in the 80's, 90's or early 00's. Nowadays "hurt pride" gets a coach canned. Otter sucked, Pete called it out. He was right to do it. Wish MORE coaches did that

    Good to see some PWHL content. Carpenter is a solid player that was left off the 2018 US Olympic Gold winning team. Should have been there. Seattle might turn into a version of NHL Vegas team in their inaugural season.

    Firing DeBoer was absolutely the right call, if for no other reason than he lost his cool on the bench – what team would listen to a head coach who lets his emotions get in the way of common sense like that?! His comments afterward sealed his fate and its a shame because I thought he was a good coach before all this.

    I agree with all the points about DeBoer at the end of the season but the end of the regular season was odd to me. They win seven straight and then close out the season with seven losses, maybe expected given they were in the playoffs but the team seemed off through the post season like something wrong behind the scenes. They were winning, it felt fragile to me.
