you’re a leader on this team do you think next time the reaction has to be different from hockey team I I do think so and I I know it will be um you know I think there’s a lot of guys that wish they were on the ice when that happened um but you know we we talked about that we dealt with it and um you know that won’t happen again what makes you confident it won’t happen um we talked about it as a group and um I mean I just it’s not going to happen again people on the outside that may come to the conclusion you guys aren’t a tight group um just curious your reaction to that um CU we’ve seen it throughout the season where if something does happen I mean Alex stepped up for JJ and Prague Dennis against yeah um we’re definitely a tight group I mean every every new guy that comes here says it’s the tightest group they’ve ever played on so um you know we we have each other’s backs and um you know obviously that uh we didn’t like I didn’t love the reaction that happened last time but um we know that everyone in here has each other’s backs and um yeah how much do an incident like this kind of I don’t know wake you up to the back or just kind of give you some pride to show that you’re not a team that the teams can take Liberty yeah um we obviously don’t want uh teams to think of us like that and um you know we’re going to we’re going to do what we can to to not let teams think like that um you know we we have each other back we’re a tight group you know everyone in here uh loves each other and um you know next time next time we’ll be different so starting with the game in Vancouver I would say the last six games you guys seem may impr pretty good games maybe been a little bit Yeah I think um you we’re going out there and we’re just we’re playing with confidence um you know we’re making plays um you know and we’re just we’re going out there we’re we’re playing how we know we can play and how we should play and um you know now it’s just about finding that consistency and and bringing that every day B next step cut down turnovers you know as a group I mean it just seems like that you guys are defending well in your own Zone but it’s just the turnovers that have caused some of the issues yeah um you always try and clean up turnovers as much as you can uh they’re going to happen um but you want to limit them and and limit the times that they happen and uh I think we’re learning at at times at the end of periods when to to be smart and just get it get it deep instead of trying to make a play at times and uh yeah we we still got to be better at that that part attitude been the last two games against Nashville you a two goal lead they came back but you won the hockey game late you kind of went type of the deal sitting back and the same thing against New Jersey at a 4 to1 lead they made it 4 to3 but you have two great penalty kills where again you look like you guys were going for has that attitude changed that you know you just can’t sit back it’s going to happen again yeah I think we figured out this year that sitting back just doesn’t work um so you know we we’ve talked Lots about how how we can be better at holding on to leads and it’s just about pushing forward looking for the next goal and uh you’re not changing how you play because you’re up you’re up one or two goals how huge of the bench was to get those two they hardly even got a sniff that yeah that was a great job by our PK there and obviously he’ll be back there um we definitely don’t want to take penalties at that time of the game but uh the PK stepped up big for us spent a lot of your career younger Lin mates like guys where you’re almost the oldest guy in leading what’s it like to have more experienced guys on other side kind of learn play yeah it’s been uh it’s been great playing with those guys they’re both great players uh they understand the game well and uh you know now I can I can learn from from them um and uh just take away bits of their game and uh you know play playing with them been great both great players you feel like it’s taken a little pressure off in some Maybe even if you didn’t recognize that it was there before that you know just have experienced guys around you yeah I think so um yeah I uh it’s been great playing with those two guys and I’m just uh you know excited to to keep building with them
