  1. i think the habs should try both Xhekaj brothers next season .it would be sad to trade Harbour without testing him another season and if Florient cn make the team who know what habs could benifit? if next season does not work then trade harbor , but for now i would give him his chance. lets not repaet trading a promissing defenceman has did that with 2 prospects remember.

  2. I like Struble but he is not physical enough. If he played much more agressively, I think he would definitely have a spot in the top 6 defencemen corps. But, I would prefer Xhejak in the long term than Struble..

  3. Ya,I’m gonna stop following soon if we keep up these daily bullshit headlines. Everyday it’s “Habs are up to something massive” or “ Habs linked to star player” stop treating your followers like idiots.

  4. I would trade Arber for Hague, anytime. Hague is more physical and can play on the PK. For Vegas, they would save a few millions on the salary cap. How many PK minutes Arber played last season?

  5. Lol all of the whiners in the comments complaining about repetitive content… Lol what do you want? TSN is at it every day, just the same. Watching is optional, after all…

  6. My off-season plan:
Trade Mailloux, pick 16, 17 and 2026 1st round for 2nd overall for Misa. The missing piece the Habs are missing to become contenders and to be set for the future. He would also most likely be NHL ready.
Sign a free agent to be the 2C role. Lineup for next season if this happens:
    Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield
    Misa-FA signing-Demidov
    Laine-Dach-Heinemen
    Gallagher-Evans-Anderson

  7. Look if you go for Nic Hague, then Arber is going to be traded. Arber plays left and Hague plays left as well. Both play on the third pair defense. Your not moving Lane Hutson or Kayden Guhle from the left side. So do you guys really want Hague on the roster? Because immediately he will take the 3rd pair slot from Arber. You don't trade for a guy and then bench him. Arber has been benched constantly. He is going to be traded if they go for Hague.

    What do you guys want?

  8. Why are we going to go after a defenceman with our first pick what happened to getting a second line centre I been listening to a lot of podcast all to do with the Canadiens but all you podcast guys are all owner the map every single day it beginning to sound like bullsit I’m beginning to wa t to give up on listening to podcast

  9. Hague is a minus player the last 2 years on an elite team that was plus 58 this year. Yes he's a big D but a bottom pair D like Xhekaj without the intimidating factor. Would be a dumb trade

  10. Hague, can play right? So can Guhle and Hutson, doesn't mean it is ideal that they do play on the right.

At best Hague is a lateral move from Xhekaj.

Problem is, Hague doesn't fight, and doesn't hit.

    Hague 2025 – 68 games, 40 PIM, 74 Blocks, 82 Hits
    Xhekaj 2025 – 70 games, 118 PIM, 63 Blocks, 180 Hits

As far as the Washington series. Habs got battered because they played Struble instead of Xhekaj.

Hey, if they trade Mailloux, and Hague can play on the right effectively. The sure. Personally think trading Mailloux is a mistake, and that he should slot in beside Xhekaj on the 3rd pairing. All a trade like this does is further block the up and coming players. Sure, he is big, but what good is size, if he doesn't use it. Look no further than Laine on a player with size that doesn't use it.

  11. Uh oh… something huge is comin'… again… There's been big big big big BIG things comin' for Montreal… still waiting for it though. Boy oh boy I can't wait to see them sign an AHL career player.

  12. I don’t understand the hype with Hague it’s not like he’s a star and the fact that he’s a LD (yes I know that he can play on the right) I just feel like it’s a lateral move why even make that trade. I would rather we bring up Mailloux and or Reinbacher.
