It is going to take YEARS to clear this team of the STENCH of louzer!!! HTF does ownership allow this crap? They clearly don’t know how to hire people and allow them to run the team. My NFL team is in a similar situation, the idiot owner is the GM, they haven’t won a SB in 30 years, oh that is more recent than the Isles last cup win.
Elliotte Friedman said it’s not uncommon for GMs who see the writing on the wall to give the people around them an extension to help take care of them. These guys make a fraction of what the GM makes, so he gives them an extra year for some stability. Everyone’s burying Lou for a practice that seems fairly standard league wide 🤷🏼♂️
For those people who say this is a common practice or it's only two years so what's the big deal, how do you think Lou Lamoriello would react to being saddled with the previous GMs entire staff including the former GMs incompetent son? Yeah…thought so

I was watching a video on TSN with Craig Button and he said that this is a very common thing for an outgoing GM to give contracts to loyal employees before his authority is removed. Apparently, they all do it. So, my anger at Lou is mitigated after hearing this.
This is ownerships fault, it’s apparent they left the team in Lous hands & while they were admiring their new barn he was stocking it with the same broken horses from years past.
