We look forward to this shoot every year, hosted at one of the best shooting grounds and supported by our favourite cartridge company, Hull Cartridge.
This year, Josh shows us how it’s done, taking us round the hardest stands giving his professional advice on where people often go wrong with sporting clays.
Enjoy

I noticed that you're not shooting your long thorn anymore
Do you spend alot of time guessing chokes or just shoot regardless
Great coverage of the pro one, shot it myself and found going through the stands/Targates with you reall helps.
TGS! Legend!
Every video you’ve done covering an event has always been such high quality, they’re by far my favorite to watch
What a fantastic video Jonny, and big thank you for my little moment of fame 👌
See you soon in Barbury 😉
Great vid Jonny, I shot it this year. Hit 87 which I was happy with. Great fun squad – stand 3 really tripped me up😢Good to see how it should have been shot. I’m up for A TGS squad next year
Went Saturday for the first time great day!
That was the best shoot of the year ! 100 % booking for next year pro one !

Guys you content and filming just the best out there !!

wondering where or if we can buy hull cartridges in canada?
Quality coverage and step by step analysis..👌
Great video again showing clays and presentations. Looks like a great event too. I watched this video 3 times to understand everything Josh was saying! He is a great target settee and explains well the reasons for setting the targets as he does. Looking forward to more videos of Barbury. Jim Georgia USA
Great video and a great couple days. The walkthroughs with Josh are very useful and leave me with much to think about in my own approach to targets. Thanks for sharing
I noticed you weren't in the finals must of just missed good luck next year
Fantastic job again. Really enjoy your videos. Have come very late to shotgun shooting but have become a little obsessed 🙂 Be great to see some more with Simon as although I love my Beretta U/O its my old SxS's that have my heart.
what happened to the Longthorn Shotgun?
Hello again. I really like this video. I have watched it four times now. Josh and Jonny work very well together in their explanations. They were discussing shooting rabbits with ProPiston shells. I noticed in the video that those shells are in #9 shot. I tried some #9 shot on very close rabbits this past week. The shells broke the rabbits quite well. I never expected that. I am going to keep using that strategy on close rabbits. Thanks to Josh and Jonny for the idea. I have checked for Hull shells here in USA. It appears some versions are available but not ProPistons. Thanks again. Keep the videos coming. Jim Georgia USA
Hi i’m looking at buying my first shotgun i’m 6ft 5 very stocking guy looking at Beretta silver pigeon 686 for clay pigeon shooting maybe some small game shooting as well i live in cyprus many thanks Anthony 🌞😎👍
Great soundtrack!
was that guy on coke ? jees PS holland … that was a man right ?
We yanks might benefit from subtitles. Great video though. Thanks
He speaks a lot about coming from behind the bird and then getting out in front- swing through. I heard Digweed say last year he shoots 90 % of his targets coming from behind. I switched to that method and it has helped my shooting immensely. It forces me to be out front – I used to try sustained lead and never mastered matching my gun speed to the target. Not sure if swing thru is the way they teach in the UK.
I'm a pretty newish shooter all things considered, but your videos really make these things feel inclusive. So much so, I've just called up and put myself on the waiting list for this year!
With a report pair and a big gap between targets, why not just drop the gun off the shoulder and remount at the correct time.? I often do that on following pairs….. Thoughts
