Addressing the potential moves: Leafs will trade Marner's rights for draft pick; Tavares, 60/40 he comes back at a BIG discount. Knies becomes a much bigger focus in T.O.; likely they keep Matthews, but he'd sure fetch a lot from an American squad (Utah or Anaheim). Woll is a good kid, but Leafs need a 1a, 1b platoon in net (like the old Bruins system with Sway and Ullmark): Gibson from Anaheim sounds like a good candidate; Woll gets another season to get seasoned. Tough break, Leaf fans; they are good, just not at the right time…
They gotta rip that team apart and rebuild it, but they won’t , they’ll just blame it on Mitch like they did Kadri before, who ended up winning a cup before the Leafs did
Basically the regular season has the superstars and high calibre players attract fans for 82 games and pay the bills .
Then come playoff time, the Panthers suffocate all the talent creating a game for me which is boring and unwatchable.
Trade Mathews. Use the cap space for Marner and Tavares.

All true, especially for this much disappointment several years in a row for Toronto fans. But now that we have seen the Panthers play in Carolina these first two games… I think Toronto should be cut a little bit more slack for this current year.

This organisation has the most inflated ego i have ever seen. The team never listens to constructive criticism. I have been saying for the last 5+ years that the four core is the problem.
