Great video, I agree with you, positivity is good
4:15 is start of video
Agreed, Petey needs to be able to ENJOY playing hockey again.
Hopefully Petterson ate some steak and eggs this summer and put on some weight. Tired of seeing him flop over the ice when he gets checked. The reverse check is now expected from players.
skipp the fluff 4:12
7:49 for petterson you have to say: how does your š±ussy feel? Does it hurt? R u okay? Do you need to rest your š±ussy?
Thatās not gonna happen
Scotty Bowman said Guy Lafleur couldnāt follow a system so he had to let him do his own thing. Can you imagine if he would have held Guy back wouldnāt have scored them big goals
Less drama the better for this player, and probably most.
This changes nothing elias has too go now and be traded before were stuck with a 12 m contract a player that no one else will take him after, id rather have a player like willander that dreamed being here in Vancouver and wants too work with the sedins too become something special and bring home the Stanley cup I want too see players that will.make Vancouver there home and litterly die too bring the cup here in Vancouver
i think we shouldnt have to baby superstars but do whatever ya gotta do to bring peteys game back to his skill level ps i think foote is a good fit and is gonna tear it up and pss good take on the whole thing
The reality is that 2 things are true: Elias Pettersson is untradeable right now as he is. It's also true that if he gets back to an 85-110 point player, he's not a player you want to trade unless you absolutely have to. I know that's not what the anti-Swedes want to hear, but it's the truth. Either way, I don't know that he's going anywhere. So the best thing we can do as fans is hope that he gets better and lives up to his contract, like William Nylander, who has a similar contract. I'm rooting for the guy, because if he does well, the team does well, and I'm a Canucks fan.
Canāt win with personalities like Petey and Kuz. These types need a friendly power forward with em or they fold, like the Leafs. Best case scenario, Petey finds his game and they trade him.
During the 4 nations cup Pettersson still did nothing maybes it's not everyone else, maybe it was just pettersson.
It's the same group. The Canucks need to sell false hope as it's their business, but expecting anything different now from the same group after the time transpired is insanity.
I have played a lot of sports and I know whether you like it or not it's different strokes for different folks. You nailed it, some guys you push hard and other guys you don't criticize because they have hi IQ's and they already know they are failing but still good enough and smart enough to figure it all out and turn it around with encouragement. One size does not fit all.
Petey is the 1st NHL player I have seen, to miss 1/2 a season with hurt feelings. Trade him, 91.8 M reasons I can't even look at him š¤š¤”
I have to be honest, Tocchet was just Green 2.0 and he made the same mistakes, which is to take a skilled, finesse oriented roster and make them dump and chase and play like grinding 4th liners.
So when EP 40 sucks hard this next season will people actually still be making excuses š
I think now that miller is gone petterson will do better next season miller was the locker room cancer
Tocc new he was out the door when we got the new guys we lost the first game then won 3 in a row then the new guys started playing tocc hockey and we lost almost every games after that
We had really good players but tocc was a wash
Signs for 11.6 but doesn't prepare himself properly. It's not like he couldn't afford help or advice.
God i really hope petey bounces back a season maybe 2 and he gets his value up and we trade that spoiled brat out of town. I am so tired of hearing all these excuses. HE PLAYS IN THE NHL FFS AND MAKES 11.6MILL $/YEAR. Do you know how many players hell regular people would do anything to make that much $. Stop giving him excuses and sugar coating it. Hes a spoiled pouty brat who needs a wake up call. Honestly cant stand the kid and ive never hated a single player in the history of the canucks.
Not interested in the coach coddling a guy making 11.6M with a no movement clause. He needs to produce & play properly or he can ride the pine, or better yet, sit in the press box.
To any standard EP under formed. It had nothing to do with coaches, this is just garbage. If teams thought this was the issue, a trade would be in the works. EP has a lucrative contract and will no longer play for anyone.
Hope we get mckenna

Too bad Aquillini blocked the Carolina offer
1st
Necas
Morris
Katkaneimi (3rd Liner)
Too bad they didn't keep JT Miller like most fans wanted to but that being said lets give Petey ONE more chance to prove himself
Why canāt he work out with Sedin s
Is anyone interested in playing over under? Rules are simple.
I'm picking under 65 pts.
Money will be held in escrow until the end of the regular season.
This is a real offer.
Without being an expert, this YouTuber actually hit one nail on the head on this one. The type of motivation you give to Fat Pumba-bonehead players (that will never be true star players) vs. a player with enormous potential but is not a "bro" is different. One thrives on mindless banter and can get pumped on lies ("Marchand scre*wed your mum last night"), while the other becomes motivated with real things ("you have what it takes"). Who gets pumped on fluff, exaggerations, and lies? I actually don't understand that personality at all. And I crushed all braggers and big talkers. Hated them. Still do now two decades later and now I c.a.n. trash-talk.
Heās a baby , being paid 11 million his job is to play to the best of his ability, and he didnāt, heās so soft , and blaming the last coach is just stupid,,
Completely agree!
Did they try to make Gretzky a hard nosed , hitter, checker, or did they just let him do is own thing? Let Petey do his creative stuff and leave him alone. Tocchet tried to make him that great defensive player (reprogram) but still put up the points. I am glad that Tocchet is gone and I hope Foote gets Petey rolling once again!
Petey buyout in 3 years
I had to wonder about Tocchet as coach. His record wasn't great. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt. My mind changed when Miller left.
Petey will not improve ⤠⦠11.6 mill reasons to not care for 7 years š
EP is rubbish !!! Over paid soft !! Trade the bum !!!
The coaching discouraged him from playing. So tired of seeing the likes of Petterson and Likenen on a rush then stopping to look for someone to pass to.
They overpaid him with Sedins in their eyes, you are šÆ right about they have to shape to his ability. He's a nice guy but he's turning into a player that can't get out of his head like Drouin or heaven's forbid Laine
Hey dude this team has made the playoffs 2 times in last how many years open your eyes this guy extremely high paid at best he is 4 million a year player period
The only hope we have of trading Petterson is if he's good enough again that we don't want to trade him
Wanted to listen but couldnt deal with the game noises in the background.. Odd choice
Tochs style suited the bottom 6 and not the top six as much. Petey has succeeded on all levels and tochs style diddnt suit his play style…. maybe when he is 35/36 + and slows down it may fit him better but now not so much. watch … I am predicting he is going to have a bounce back year(if healthy) the way Brock did last year with his 40 goals
Petey is as good as players around him. Team has good D it has above avrage bottom six. Keeping is good. 2nd line wings lack period. Trade of Hronek can bring top six winger. Arni Ravinkskis is good addition. 3 or fourth line wing big and strong.
Resub 4 LR99 Unfixed Hockey BROCKEYTOWN ELIASP40 SNATCHER DEM LANKY SAVE LIVES ALAS GO CANUCKS GO !
I hope he gets back to 100 pts. again but I can't see him being effective in the playoffs. Looking at last year's and this year's playoffs, he'll be on the ground all the time, blow at him, and he'll fall.
