are Real Madrid trying to sign the wrong Liverpool right back because we know they want Trent Alexander Arnold but is he really what they need well on one hand absolutely yes his passing and vision would be amazing for sending players through one goal but building a great team is harder than just signing the best individuals and Alexander Arnold’s role has changed a lot over the last few seasons cuz while he used to be a wide attacking fullback now he spends a lot of time in central Midfield dictating play or in half space pinging balls into the box and this is relevant because Madrid front three all like playing centrally which means width has to come from elsewhere and is why Vasquez and Carvajal essentially play like Wingers and it’s also exactly what Alexander Arnold’s understudy Connor Bradley is best at quick defensively solid a natural wide attacking fullback he fits the Tactical profile perfectly but Real Madrid don’t really wait on potential and so they just tweak things they can then enjoy one of the best chance creators in World football which is much more fun while Liverpool can develop their own attacking fullback who might just turn out to be a superstar himself

If you are a sane person it's so fking obvious trent would be amazing in Madrid. They have an engine in the midfield, pacey clinical front 3. Trent would do amazing in Madrid. They finally found a good cb duo this season as well. Trent can overload in midfield whenever they are getting run over like the arsenal game or they can just counter with balls from behind

I think even you guys pointed out the wrong Liverpool rightback we shouldve got, and its Joe Gomez.
I know he isnt a headline player but what we need is depth in the backline, and you have a CB whos decent in the air and can cover both fullback roles while marauding forward. We have one fit LB at the moment and Vasquez is our RB.
He would ride the bench most of the time but he wpuld bring a level of security in the backline so we don't need to be in a situation like this season where we played a classico where we only had an academy player as our only natural cb and a 5"5 34yo winger as our RB.
