Oilers have to be far more disciplined. I think they will be alright but that was an awful game. Not only did they not capitalize on most of their power plays, they gave Florida about 8 of them…

Edmonton was disorganized, undisciplined and downright embarrassing at times tonight… So many of the penalties they took were just childish and then they reacted like drama queens. I was expecting more after how close the first two games were. If they keep this up, Perry is definitely gonna set a record for most consecutive finals lost if he hasn’t already.
So they don’t show when Arvidson tried to decapitate Bobrovsky?
The panthers 5th goal is one of the best executions I’ve ever seen I mean that is a team of players who know exactly where everyone is gonna be. Barkov – Tkachuk – Reinhart – Ekblad – goal in less than 2 seconds. Perfection.

2. Panthers could’ve played blindfolded using mop handles and still have won 6-1, the Oilers outplayed, frustrated but that doesn't excuse them playing so dirty. And they played defense like they were legally obligated to stay 6 feet away from the puck.

There's a reason it's been 37 years since a Cup team had multiple 100 point scorers on it. The entire world knows the 2 players you have to contain for Edmonton. Sure the depth has improved but the entire world also knows that when the going gets tough later on in this series, Knoblauch will use Connor and Leon like lab rats. Dispite improved depth, pick someone else other than the big 2 and Bouchard to say "that guys gonna have a big game". Pick 2 on Florida to contain, go ahead. I'll take Selke's over Art Ross' any day. Game 4 is a must win. Florida is better than last year.

Kane was looking for Tkachuk all night. At some point Tkachuk needs to step up. Tkachuk reminds me of his old man. All mouth but won't engage with anybody his own size.
The Oilers didn't look sharp tonight. Skinner was out of position and off balance on the first, the second was a REALLY good shot (so no blame there), but the third he had to stop. The 4th was a breakaway with TWO Panthers coming in (so again, not really Skinner's fault), 5th a pass across to an open man on the power play (Skinner SHOULD have read that one, it was kind of the obvious play, and he was pretty late to move), sixth on a 5 on 3 that Skinner probably should have had, but it was already over by that point. The Oilers looked a bit disorgainzed, and their defense reminded me of… GASP… the LEAFS.
It's ok, they're entitled to a bad game, they've played so well all along until now. They'll bounce back for the next one.
Also, I only saw the highlights, so I can't say anything about the refs myself, but I HEARD they were pretty biased in Florida's favour. I didn't see it in the highlights, but it wouldn't surprise me… I mean, why start calling it fairly now?
