A 1st & a 3rd round pick for Miller? Really??? If that's the case I doubt anyone will want him as an RFA
If K. Miller gets offer-sheeted and leaves, then Drury should offer sheet a better RFA out there.
Give me a Kreider trade too. I’m sorry but his cap hit at his age with the injury history he has to go. K’Andre should be moved on from. We need to sign a solid defensive defenseman. I’d like to acquire Bowen Byram some how to pair him with Fox. Sign Gavrikov Need a third line center too.
The whole problem with trading K'Andre- and anyone right now- is we have absolutely no idea how they will develop under Sully. We could potentially be getting rid of star players that have been hamstrung by previous coaches.
K'iller's problem is not skillset, it's decision making under pressure, especially in the D-zone. He will also overcommit in the O-zone, which can result in goals, but just as often result in odd man rushes the other way. He's going to be traded before offer sheet season begins. Hopefully a swap with Buffalo for Byram. Will they trade Kreider? Depends on Sullivan IMO. In his introductory press conference, he noted that the Rangers as presently constituted, were a very talented team. Coaching is so underrated by fans, but like an army a good general(coach) is vital to success.
Cant sign gavrikov and a third kine center like frederick, without shedding kreider and k miller, soucy. Need to open cap space. Only way we get byram and a winger is by giving up a ready player who is young in a package for byram and maybe tuch or peterka

Seems the GM is repeating his morale destroying tactic of last year by designating almost the entire Rangers team as trade bait. Other videos have the GM shopping anyone other than 3 players.
Now I know I'll get some heat for the take, but, K Miller while I do not think he's earned what he's asking for, I don't exactly think the Rangers should trade him just yet. To be fair, K.Miller had to learn under Phil Housley who never really played defense as, a defensemen during his NHL career. He was your typical offensive defensemen, with little defensive effort. So of course a player like K.Miller, who is still learning the ins and outs of what it fully means to be a defensemen, really hurt his progression as a defensemen. So I can't exactly blame K. Miller for his regression. Hell, every defender on the roster regressed defensively under Housley defensive tactics last year. I still think K. Miller can be salvaged if they bring in the right defensive coach. People also need to take into account, Igor and quick will be getting coached technically, by there third goaltending coach in three years. This could also affect them, so it should be interesting to keep an eye on that as well.
It's all in his head. He looks confused so much of the time. Get what you can and move on.
