i heard something about big changes in dallas and i thought, what if it's not about deboer or robertson or benn, but they announce a move to houston? that'd be funny.
Worse case scenario Robertson is moved for a more “proven” veteran to try to get them over the hump and they fail miserably and Dallas is saddled with another terrible contract for years to come.

I'd like to see the offside challenge go away. I think it has made linesmen not make calls that are close that they think are offside. I think it takes joy out of the game, adds delay, takes away scoring and honestly, does a close but missed offside give any team a measuable advantage in scoring the goal? In other words, did that extra couple of inches cheat the defenseman? Was it distracting to the goaltender? No.
Also, get rid of that stupid trapezoid. Let the crazy ones wander.

One correction to you PWHL coverage. At the Expansion Draft Seattle and Vancouver will draft a MINIMUM of 7 players. If they both sign 5 players during the signing window they would draft 7 Players. If they sign less than 5 players then they will continue to draft players until each expansion team ends the day with 12 players. So if neither team signs anyone during the signing period the expansion draft would be 12 rounds.
I wonder if kupari will ever make a return to the nhl or if this is the last we seen of him. He was always back and forth between ahl and nhl for the kings

Thanks for the vide! Good for Cates. Contracts are tricky things but hiding them in the AHL is a time honored tradition. Good for Kupari. Preds might have missed an opportunity. Brind'amour's opinion on the handshake line is a non-issue until the next time the Cane play in a playoff round. Cameras go to coach to get a handle on if they will challenge, which is information the announcers need.
I also dislike when the camera goes to the coach after a goal. That's been bothering me for years. Leave it on the players, please. I don't care if they have a second camera on the coach and put something in the replay if the coach does something interesting, but leave the live feed on the celebration or opposing players or even fans. An old guy in a suit staring at his shoes is the last thing I want to see at that moment.
I think handshakes start with players, coaches, staff, all the fans, then random citizens form line from arena to the airport. Lets be inclusive to everybody!!
What's even worse is watching Canadian teams every time a goal is scored they immediately put the camera on the GM in the press box

So, head coach in the handshake line, but adding staff, pretty soon we’ll have trainers, secretaries, ushers, concession workers and the Zamboni driver will be out on the ice when the loosing team just wants to get to the locker room.
