He's going to pull a Kadri? Look into the history, many players and coaches have moved on and won cups,not just Kadri. Plus Kadri was a trade. Biggest thing I can't get over, is how do four or five guys get no trade contracts when none of them have ever won anything to demand that?

This is pretty ridiculous criticism. “They all got their own contract.” wtf? So does every single player. Each of the players shares 1/4 of the blame, and yet the issue was the decision makers in the organization? Nylander, who has been by far their best playoff performer, is as responsible as the guys who tank every playoffs? This just sounded like angry word salad.

You guys try to complicate a pretty straight forward situation. This edition of the Leaf's does not win because they do not have the leadership. They don't have a guy who can dominate a series , let alone a playoff. Don't have the guy to score a big goal when needed. And this is because a misevaluation by Brendan Shanahan and Kyle Dubas. It is that simple. Neither one of those two did a proper evaluation of what they had. It is years later , and despite being no Keefe or Dubas, they are getting exactly the same result.
