I also catch you up on what’s been a wild run for the Abbotsford Canucks in the Calder Cup playoffs over in the American Hockey League. After getting past the Tucson Roadrunners (Utah Mammoth’s affiliate), the Coachella Valley Firebirds (Seattle’s affiliate), and the Colorado Eagles (Colorado’s affiliate), Abby is now in the Western Conference Final, up 2–1 against the Texas Stars (you know who’s AHL affiliate). They’ve been led by Vancouver Canucks prospects Max Sasson, Linus Karlsson, Victor Mancini, Danila Klimovich, and especially goaltender Artūrs Šilovs.
