I started paying attention to the panthers when they took our wildcard spot in 2023, and i instantly fell in love with the way they play tbh. They’re honestly the blueprint for what anyone should build a team going forward
Three straight finals is incredible. Especially considering the first trip was possible because the Penguins couldn't beat the two worst teams in the league to secure the final playoff spot over the Panthers.

In my opinion Dallas has been playing kind of soft with Edmonton. When the oilers advance they're going to run into the same problem as last year. A team that will challenge you physically and Edmonton does not like getting hit. I say Florida in five. Not to mention Florida has the best coach in the league and it's not even close.
Penguins actually went back to back 3x. I know we don’t like to talk about 2008. Also I think the home fans in attendance of a game is different from regular season and playoffs. I was in Raleigh last season for a Pens game. The setting seemed very family oriented. I think the atmosphere at a playoff game there is quite the opposite. Wish I had gone to sunrise 4 years ago or more when good seats were relatively cheap and widely available.

Carolina chokes again. Their fans are as bad as Toronto. Hate to say it's a repeat of last year but Dallas has dumbed down their play against Oilers. Panthers are impressive, if they win the Cup it'll be interesting because their AHL affiliate is also close to the Calder
I do hate the type of hockey fan I've become — without the pens..I find myself losing more and more interest with each round of the playoffs… the final round ill probably just look at the daily box scores
Any chance the ratings drop because of the bizarre streaming system they have in place? Once you could pay for center ice and get all the games. Now during the regular season you have to have ESPN plus, TNT/Max, and the NHL network, but then in the playoffs you need ESPN not the plus version and the premium TNT/Max . So either people find “alternative streaming” ways to watch or just simple don’t watch because they aren’t going to pay for the premium subscription

Oh to be a tough, physical hockey team like the Panthers. I really miss that with the Penguins. What I’d give to see butt kickin’ tough guy hopping over the boards to protect Sidney or finishing a check. Help me DK to see why we’ve become so soft. That game last night was hockey.
I don''t follow sports anticipating I'll have politics shoved front and center. I'm pretty sure that just happened. I know I've avoided anything from Taylor since she let her politics polute her reporting of hockey. So, care to expound on how all that's wrong with Florida? Why you despise the state? Because it seems obvious as worded and expressed, you felt it vital to express your hatred of a state that is so obviously one political persuasion over the other…if you really want to make this about hockey and politics, I don't want to be here.
