Perennial pretenders
Tocchet took the first flight outta here for a reason
Canucks will be in a race with Seattle for worst Team in the division
Clip it
Canucks would better served taking a year off amassing as many picks as possible for 2026
Should of did that the bedard year instead of inflating tocchett the quiters ego with those wins
They are a mid performance team currently
Lets be real 75% of the league is a long ways away from being a true contender
Didn't Canucks take Oilers to game 7 of round 2 in playoffs 2 years ago and just 1 goal from winning? And lost without their no 1 goalie and Boeser who was playing clutch hockey? LMAO.
This Canucks team isnt even close to that 2024 team
Alviin managed to screw this team up in less than a year badly
GO FLORIDA…in 6
There are lot of ifs for the Canucks.
If Petey regains his form and is a 100 point guy again
If Demko returns healthy and can play all year
If Joshua and Hoglander can return to a 20 goal plus guys
If Willander who has been playing with the Hutsons bros the last 2 years is as advertised and can play with Hughes
If they can bring in a good forward who remains healthy (Brian Rust or Lafreinere or Rossi) then I think they will be very tough out.
If things go well for the Nucks…Demko stays healthy, EP40 has a reasonable year and Quinn plays at a Norris level again, this team MAY be a wildcard contender. Everyone around them are improving while the Canucks are sliding backward with so many questions left to be answered. Too soft of a team as it currently sits. There's no bite in that bark…heck, no bark to speak of either.
