  1. Skinners skate push bennets and that’s what cause Bennet to fall but yall don’t notice that part cause it would prove it was skinners fault and oilers fans don’t like taking accountability

  2. He reminds me of chopping down a tree. No matter what technique you use, no matter where it is leaning, it always falls on the house.

  3. Analysis is spot on. He is pushing him across the crease which is exactly what a defenseman is supposed to do in that play. Intentionally falling into the goalie is a penalty.

  4. Bennett did say he felt knocked in to by Skinner on his heel and on replay I can see it. Personally, I think it's a non-call and Skinner did kind of sell it (which I don't blame him considering this is what Bennett does in front of goalies). It was a bit worrying to see the way Skinner's knee was positioned after the fall. During the game, I thought initially he may have hurt his head. Just glad he's ok. The pat in the box is a bit of stretch as evidence that it was a malicious attack.

What a series and let's hope that it is not determined by injuries and bad calls (which I've seen called on both teams).

  5. Been calling for someone to pay him back for 2 years now… Not one player has made him pay the price…not once… he will continue to do so until someone knocks his block off.

  6. Gotta love the NHL… every year it is the same set of guys thriving in the playoffs… all the dirty rats…

  7. Falls back on him “for no real reason.” WTF are you talking about? Sure, Bennett has a reputation, but in this instance, Skinner’s right foot/skate takes out Bennett, which is why he falls. You’re analyzing the video, being biased in all honesty, but refuse to include that information, which is wrong. Worse if you can’t even see that while analyzing the play.

  8. Are we sure Tkachuk wasn't patting Bennet on the chest to tell him it wasn't the end of the world that he was in the penalty box? Tkachuk was just being a good team mate.

  9. I didn’t notice it live, and you didn’t mention it here, but Skinner’s skate pushes Bennett’s skate out. I’m sure Bennett isn’t making much effort to stay up, but the fall has nothing to do with Ekholm. It’s skinner kicking his skate out.

  10. Bennett should have been suspended the first time he “accidentally” hit a goalie these playoffs. The tkachuk tapping him is unsportsmanlike, sure it’s the playoffs, but intentionally injuring players is beyond

  11. I truly wonder how any man would stay on his feet, getting pushed one way while also getting their foot kicked from underneath them

  12. Bennett should have realized that the NHL only allows that garbage play against the leafs . The Leafs management allows it all the time with no complaining . Other teams like the oilers will properly raise the roof . NHL with the nonsense that it's playoff hockey as if they toss out their own rule book .

  13. How is this even a debate? Bennett has tried to take out three different goalies in three different series this playoffs.

  14. Maybe skinner shouldn’t trip him and maybe ekholm shouldn’t push him. You don’t do those things it wouldn’t have happened. I have no sympathy for skinner for those two players stupidity. In fact skinner should get an Oscar for that performance.

  15. You’re off your rocker. Bennet and Skinner both lost their balance. This is NOT goaltender interference.

  16. Lmao more biased Sportsnet bullshit. The mistake you made was posting a slo-mo replay that shows Bennet being tripped up by Skinner’s right skate. Really shot yourselves in the foot here😂
