Hard pass on JGP….he's definitely declining and undersized.
Matheson has to go while he is of value. Holding onto him, and letting the league see him fall off the cliff, would be a poor choice. His metrics are still good to look at, but they will not be pretty by the 2026 trade deadline. If you watched him play all year, you know his end is near.
Habs go big, get Rasmus Andersson or Noah Dobson as a Rhd and then some 2nd line center, Marco Rossi?
