Who was the last tiny 1C to win a cup?
Barkey needs 20lbs and he will be a good player
Eklund is a 165 pound dwarf and a winger, that’s the last thing we need.
Denver Barkey is certainly noticeable for the Knights, and not simply because he was swimming in his sweater…
But I am less convinced that his abilities translate to top 6 NHL minutes, in part because I thought he could have been called for a half dozen hooking and interference calls during the course of Mem Cup. That could have merely been his taking advantage of playoff officiating, but it seemed to me like there were plenty of times when he was just trying to keep up with the bigger kids in his play, and I don't see that projecting as favorably in the professional ranks.
Oliver Bonk on the other hand, got my attention on numerous occasions, and mostly positively. Particularly if that was him playing through something of an injury. He made a boat load of impressive 70 foot passes, that granted might not always be there at the next level, but it was certainly nice to see his vision and accuracy off his tape.
I do not understand bills take on goalies “getting away with murder”. Goalies are consistently the number one player on the team that people blame when a team underperforms.
I realize your running short of material, but the only player not a center flyers should even consider is porter martone
Biggest issue for barkey is his health…
Barkey is 5'9" he'll be fine if he adds muscle
This would be a better pick than Brady Martin, Roger McQueen and Jake O’Brien in my opinion.
Definitely wouldn’t be upset with Eklund. But considering how we don’t need anymore undersized wingers on this god damn team, I doubt we take him.
The Flyers will trade down, probably for rights to a really good RFA and a draft pick next year. We don't need any more 5'9" 150 lbs centermen. You know I'm right, so stop it with the midgets on ice crap.
