Marchand is a skilled player who reads the ice well. He plays the game hard with honesty and integrity. Very dangerous player, can't be giving him breakaways like that going forward.
Florida play the most garbage, dirty hockey in History, If they win the cup again I'm gonna lose it. Oilers got this though! Also Someone needs to take matters into their own hands with Bennett, since the league won't suspend him for repeatedly hurting goalies! I don't normally support intentionally injuring someone but that Flamer loser, truly deserves it!

I'm going to age ten years in ten days as a Panthers fan, but this series deserves nothing less than seven games the way both teams are playing right now. Both games have been a bounce away, and it's clear that home ice isn't going to mean a damn thing between these two, either. There should be no question after watching the way these two are going at it that these are the two best teams in the NHL right now.

This has been great hockey to watch. Very few mistakes – the goals are from great execution and great plays.

lots of love for marchand but seth jones was another fantastic deadline acquisition for the cats. always felt he was unfairly hated on, really enjoying watching him play grade-a hockey and getting a real shot at the best trophy in sports
I agree that for much of this one, Florida had Edmonton off their game, unlike in Game 1. Plus, if your D give up three clear breakaways, including one on the power play and two in OT, a team like the Panthers are going to make you pay–and they did. The Oilers got lucky when Reinhart missed the net on his chance. The Rat, however, was never going to miss.
Oilers really needed that win. But hopefully that loss will spark something and they'll get an 8-1 win like they did last year against these rats.
