Me being me I would hate to trade him off but in the same breath he would get some good forwards in the center position but I do hope they keep him I could think of other players they could trade like EP 40 but good luck on that part for the contract he has can't see any franchise approaching Vancouver for him
Canucks suck, always next year, 55 years still suck. No matter who they draft or trade for or who coaches them. Swedes always choke in the playoffs. Your dreamer of this team. Canucks will always suck.
Wake up. Demkos inability to stay healthy is not helping the Canucks. Year after year of demkos out with some sort of injury.
Makes sense trade Him always injured especially here year after year limited 30 games ,80 % trade we got plenty of young goalies waiting Tolopilo slisov is the next future Demko just not liable with his health time to Hangs up the pads
You’re delusional if you think Demko is the SAME goalie he was when he was in the running for those accolades of trophy’s prior to his injuries. If someone were to be in a car crash, they’re not going to be the same driver as they were, they’re gonna take the safe route from point A to point B. So your version has him ignoring his injury, has him playing healthy like he just came off a cold or something. Trading him now makes much more sense coz then you can have Lankinen as your starting goalie and bring up Silovs who’s having a phenomenal playoff run with Abbotsford. If we keep Demko, Lankinen will want to opt out his contract as he doesn’t want to be a backup, he’s not the “just a fill in” type of player. And then there’s Silovs, man oh man, do you know how much cap space you can swim in to negotiate with these two long term? Demkos injury has become a major factor that there’s no “💯healthy” in the equation. He will always favour the safety net of staying free from injury or his career is done.
I agree with these comments, he’s getting older along with a history of injuries. Groin injuries can reappear in a heart beat, think we could get a top notch forward.
demko does"nt want to play in vancouver , send him home , while you can stillget something for him
