After a slow start Konecny really came on and had another solid season. He’s really close to breaking out. If he plays a whole season on a line with Giroux, and he realizes how good his wrist shot is and shoots more, he’ll be towards the top of the league in goals. And that’s on top of being one of the fastest players in the NHL. Hopefully the RFA can get a contract extension done soon before the season starts.
