hey everyone we are here for a little Sabres segment here with Riley we’re going to talk Buffalo Sabres offseason plans so we’re going to start with the draft free agency what we see going down for the Buffalo Sabres so we’re going to be using Puck GM on Puckedia and uh yeah Riley maybe you want to give a little bit of an intro as the Sabres fan and uh shout out to NextGen yeah so we’re gonna um do a mock off season i got this idea from Chad D dominicus and Expected Buffalo they’re actually doing theirs tonight they do uh they do it on the podcast every year it’s a big thing i love how they do it so basically we’re going to run through and uh I’ll be the Sabres GM john will be taking my calls and calling me an idiot probably because I’ve sent him tons of mock trades over the last couple days and he uh doesn’t like them so I think this will be good we’ll actually have fair trades i know you guys do the puck GMs all the time and it’s totally biased trades the whole time so hopefully this will be a non-biased uh mock off season sweet all right so we got it on the board where do you want to start okay so I would probably start the first big one let’s get it out of the way i’m going to be trying to acquire Jason Robertson um cuz a off of that uh we’re going to have to see what we’re doing with Purka if we still have him after this trade um you being Jim Nil in this scenario I would say you can have your argument for whether you even want Purka because the purpose of trading away Jason Robertson is to free up cap space and I can see Purka going long but if you want JJ Purka I guess we could start there so yeah if I’m Dallas I’m probably asking for JJ Purka but for the reason that you said and what we’ve talked about offline I’m probably asking for two guys i’m asking for Koulique and I’m asking for Zack Benson for Sabres fans is Benson untouchable maybe for some but for Jason Robertson he really shouldn’t be see I’m in this frame of mind where I don’t think Benson should be untouchable for Robertson i also don’t think Koul League should be untouchable for Robertson however if there’s value that we can present where we don’t have to give Benson where like I would overpay to give up somebody else than to give Benson up in this deal so how I’ll start it off by making you an offer um and I it’ll be the same offer as the other day so it’ll be Jack Quinn Noah Oland Isaac Rosine and Matias Samson for Jason Robertson that’s my initial that’s what I become and I’m Jim Nil and I’m going the phone is hung up call me back in seven days when you’ve put some more sense in your head okay okay do you have a counter that we can have a starting point from yeah so my counter and what the dream acquisition cost here for Dallas is you send us Benson Koulik Quinn and your 2025 first and we will send you Jason Robertson benson Koulik Quinn okay that’s so my thought process is that um if we trade Benson then Robertson can slide right in that spot and if we trade Koulik then we need to trade Purka for a centerman um I really do not want to give up Benson so I’d take that off the table but I would So it was it would without Benson it would be Koulique Quinn who and if like I think we could get to like an even ground here and that’s why I think Dallas and Buffalo could be good trade partners like if it’s not Benson then you’re probably talking about a bit of a combination that benefits Dallas in the now and future and that’s why I was telling you like maybe a prospect that they like a lot but then also a guy that can go right into the bottom six so if it’s not Benson then maybe it’s some kind of combo like a Helenius and Krebs so I think Krebs fills a role for Dallas in the bottom six and what they’re losing and he’s a cheap cap hit and I think Krebs is kind of on the way up where I think he could be a consistent like 15 20 goal guy like I think he put up like what 12 13 goals last year something around there plus plus Helenius i know we were talking about the Finn connection to the Finn Mafia in in Dallas but it’s it’s a prospect that I think they would like i do think Krebs could be um he’s movable for Buffalo he’s also a west he seems like a western conference player to me like he’s got some grit to him he’s got hustle so let’s say it’s Helenius Krebs our first round pick this year what else would you need on top of that i I think it’s got to be I think it’s got to be Koulique and Quinn like I don’t think here’s my thing i think Quinn’s the perfect player for Dallas because to me and I know this is probably a reason for Buffalo not to trade him but like in my eyes Quinn doesn’t have like a lot of value to other teams right now like I just think he hasn’t proven enough obviously the injury I think Koulique is the prime piece here and what we were talking about obviously Jason Roberts is no Jack Eel but you’re probably looking at like the three to four first round pick value so you’re getting the first round pick in 25 constah Helenius former first round pick i think you could probably make the argument of Krebs and Quinn combined is a solid first round pick value in like today quinn can obviously rise as value but he’s just not there right now and then Koulak’s that fourth first round pick i think you’re there you’re getting Jason Robertson right like you said you have to overpay a little bit to beat out the other teams like the Rangers like uh the Detroit Red Wings go down the list i think that’s what you got to do so to me my offer right now would be Kik and it would be the rights to Jack Quinn call it a deal there’s no Okay so just from my perspective there’s that so if you advance two years into the future that Koulik and Helenius are big time centerman plans for the Sabres without those two the top two centermen are now um Norris and Mloud and so what if I add this guy Maverick Bourke i know you said you’re not super familiar with the player but former first round pick he only put up 25 points in 73 games but I think he’s like similar to Krebs vibes but he’s also two years younger than Krebs i just think and you you wouldn’t have any interest in Osland or Rosine i just don’t think that moves the needle for Dallas to move Jason Robertson you want at least two pieces that you’re confident are going to be contributors right away and to me that’s that’s Koulique and Quinn like or Koulique and Krebs like that’s what I’m saying krebs and Quinn if you’re not going to put Benson in this deal Krebs and Quinn are kind of like those wild cards for Dallas in my opinion it’s kind of like they could be contributors but they also might not be i think that’s why you have to like have the value it’s a It’s a massive It’s a massive package don’t get me wrong but you’re getting a two-time 40 goal scorer right i think a fair deal is this deal without without either the first round pick or Helenius to be honest i think it’s one enough because this is five first round pick evaluations see I just don’t see it that way i go back to the Krebs and Quinn thing i think if anything if you want to make the argument on that then we’ll remove one of those pieces then if you’re saying those are five first round picks then we remove Krebs or Quinn from the equation here i would remove two of those pieces and add in a second round pick to be honest with you Sabres fans this is where we’re at this is like this is back to Riley i don’t know if this is Sabres fans i’m giving up getting Maverick Bourc also who’s a former first round pick so if we remove Maverick Bour I don’t care about Maverick Bour but see that’s why I’m saying I think this is a little bit more Sabres Land like centric here maverick Bourc I’m telling you right now Maverick Bourc has more value than Krebs and Quinn individually i’m telling you right now that is okay that’s why that’s why personally I don’t think we need him we don’t need any young forwards we have so many but he’s a center he is a center i I understand that i can move Purka if I need to okay so we’re taking out Quinn so I think this I think this is maybe this is maybe doable to get it done i still think you need to you add a little tad but I think I think adding a player makes the deal like so ridiculous like it makes it look so ridiculous i would add like maybe another draft pick or something edmonton’s fourth next year does that do it i think I I again I I think it might not be enough but I think if Dallas values the prospect in Helenius which I think is one of Dallas or one of Buffalo’s current better prospects or at least like nonNHL played prospects uh and I think Kik and is to me if they value Kik a lot I think this gets it done um it really depends on what they value more the first or Quinn i personally think if you’re Buffalo you just want to move on from Quinn because he just hasn’t shown enough and it’s a change of scenery i wouldn’t mind moving on from Quinn or Krebs but I think I could get a second back from Quinn from somebody and I think Helenius Koulik and the first round pick are just so high in value and I feel like they’re if you have enough prospects and you don’t really care for this draft why not why if if it gets the deal done say Riley we’re in this position and you are on the Sabres side of things and the Stars say we’re about to walk away and accept the Rangers deal unless you add us the second round pick right now are you doing it or are you walking away i’ll do it add it in add the second add it in done deal i think that I think that gets it done i think that’s enough incentive so the deal is Jason Roberts the Buffalo Const Helenius Krebs Kik first second and fourth to Dallas okay so now I like that i don’t love it but to create a great player like you got to overpay go so bump Robertson up um Norison Thompson let’s just make this normal yeah put Benson on the second line are you putting Benson as the winger or center yeah winger winger on second line greenway uh Zucker you got all your That’s fine that’s fine for now uh we got Mloud that we can sign but I’m going to move um Byum just because I need I need to get uh recoup that first back so we can either go to um Chicago so you’re going Chicago for Byum do you think all right we can do that i I think Yeah no I think Chicago could be a team but I I just I already think they have a lot of defenseman so are you What’s the mindset here are you bringing back Conor Murphy conor Murphy so my only thing is is Conor Murphy waving to Buffalo because he’s got a modified no note move um I believe he would i I don’t know though like would you rather play in Chicago with Conor Bernard up and coming i would maybe that’s literally all they have um they got more coming if if you want to say that if you want to say that Conor Murphy is not waving a no move then I’m okay and I’d move on to Calgary yeah I think Calgary is the better bet to be honest okay Calgary calgary okay so um Rasmus Anderson yeah no I think there’s more potential here i personally want McKenzie Weaker so bad and he’s Craig Rey’s cousin i think I think he would honest honestly I know it sounds crazy i think he would wave but for this video I think we’ll just go for Rasmus Anderson i like the Patrick though i love I like I think he’s the guy type of guy we need but anyways let’s go go um yeah bone i think this is I think this is the kind of deal where you move Quinn in as well and you get the center to be honest I was Who Who do they got that we could get i mean Kadri would be sick i like Pospasil for the fourth line center yeah like Pospasil is cheap he also didn’t really have the greatest year like like Yeah he only put up like four goals and 25 points so he’s one of those like like buy low higher ceiling potential players um and he’s like around that age like he’s I think Quinn’s what 24 23 24 posil is like 25 i think if we did do Quinn and Pospasil in this I think that makes for Calgary to be honest too i think with the control of those two players that we’re giving up I think our the value is higher for us to the point where I think Calgary would add in a draft pick yeah I mean I’m with you on that i think the team control aspect you’re on to something there uh I would say yeah I mean they have two third round picks in 2026 so maybe who’s going to be the worst team i mean Vancouver might be a disastrous team but maybe the third i’m thinking a second colorado second maybe you’re Calgary’s GM that’s my Not the third take the third out just a second yeah I mean I think Jack Quinn has a lot more to offer i think it’s a change of scenery for for him with the Buffalo situation pospasil fills it like an automatic need in terms of the fourth line center spot only a million bucks rasp Anderson automatic need i think the second round picks a not like not in here if if Buffalo has the confidence and if we like if the communication side is like Buffalo’s gonna get an extension done but I think that part is like up in the air so I’ll leave it at this i think honestly if you can agree on that I think we got a done deal so okay I think Calgary for similar to Buffalo like they’ve had some prospects coming up here they have the two first round picks they don’t necessarily need the second round pick in kind of a questionable draft i think getting Byron and Quinn is pretty good for Calgary so I like that deal okay so move Pospasil down to the four 4C um Anderson up to one for now okay so I wanted to move Matias Samuelson to Seattle and the reason is that BL drafted him i think BL likes him um Seattle has Jamie Alexiaak coming off the books and Adam Larson coming off the books soon i think I think Seattle would be calling Buffalo on on uh Samuelson i just don’t know what a fair valuation is some people are saying Samuelson’s a buyout i saw a couple mock trades saying he’s a first round he would go for a late first i don’t think that personally no chance i was thinking something along the lines of flipping him for one year of Jamie Alexiaak because then you get basically the free buyout um and you get one year of Alexiaak but I think Alexiaak might actually be a better fit on the Sabers team but I think again you’re probably adding a little bit of value because that’s a risk for Seattle to take on a contract like that and then I mean Buffalo like to me I think their perspective is like they’re trying to change that right side so I think no one’s that’s why I’ve been saying no one’s doing Buffalo any favors to fix that situation i think the Rasmus Anderson acquisition I think it’s enough risk because it’s a pending uh like free agent at the end of it unless they get an extension so you want to go to the Seattle road i’m okay with that i was also saying Samuelson’s a Pennsylvania guy so that’s why I’ve always connected him with like Philly because I just think it makes some sense but he is like around Jersey area i don’t think Jersey would have any interest in him philly might have interest in him and we can work out something there i mean the Seattle one I I think could make some sense i’m just trying to think who Buffalo has in terms of their RF phase too that might be like an intriguing aspect but what if it became a bigger deal i I actually did see some people I did see some people say that Seattle could be that team that looks after Purka so it would be Yeah I could I could see something along the lines of McCann uh well isn’t this what we already talked about I think right it was like McCann and one of the defenseman i don’t think they would I don’t think Seattle would trade Larson i I like your Alexak take i think the fact that he has only one year he’s a Toronto guy i’m pretty sure he’s from Ontario so Buffalo’s close enough so maybe MC would you do McCann and Alexiaak for Samuelson and Beta or is that too much for Buffalo i think that we’d have to get up go through the roster quick of uh Seattle like like Seattle like has a lot of the younger players but I mean they could like it could also be like a depth guy that goes to Buffalo in this situation i mean the other the other hot take would be do they have a Yeah I don’t know go to draft do they have a late first no they got first what about the leaf second i don’t even know if that’s enough for Purka i feel like Purka has tons of value but Jared McCann I mean that’s a guy that that that can score 30 points he would fit right in he would fit right in as they got veteran presence so maybe it’s a situation where like it’s a second and a fourth from Seattle’s perspective you get some draft capital buffalo takes their shots they could also flip like a they have a lot of draft capital and prospects they could flip this deal but I I just think there’s the two scenarios here one you get out of that risky contract with Samuelson you get a guy I think Alexiak he’s played a lot of on the right side as well so you have more of that familiarity of play on the right side big body he’d be playing My idea of him would be playing next to Clifton um Oh so you’d have him on the left side so who’s on your right side next to Power i’m about to get to the Actually yeah don’t don’t do Purka don’t don’t don’t make this bigger don’t make this bigger yet because I wanted to do Well maybe we shift gears then because I was thinking what the deal would be if cuz the New York Rangers were sniffing around Purka at the deadline they really wanted him i could see something of Purka for Braden Schneider and maybe Will Culie but you don’t think so you don’t You think that’s too much i think Will Coulie’s analytics weren’t very good and he got very very lucky to be getting to 20 goals yeah i mean I I’m just not with you on that one i just think I I think like I said I don’t think there anyone’s in the business to do Buffalo favors and I favors and I think frankly if Braden Schneider and [ __ ] was on the table for Purka and Buffalo didn’t do that they are out of their mind i’m not saying it was on the table no I’m not saying it was but I’m saying if it wasn’t on the table before what makes it on the table now especially I’ll say this especially with the fact that the Kandre Miller situation is about to get bad for the Rangers because I’m hearing left and right and now people are dropping it from conversations at the combine like people at the combine are saying they’re hearing conversations of Keandre Miller’s name coming up from multiple different organizations okay so what about Keandre Miller then yeah I think that’s more realistic purka for Kandre Miller i think that’s a lot more realistic no whoa i think we’d have to add I don’t I I don’t know i do want Jared McCann okay is there any way we could get Jared McCann using prospects would Seattle be interested in that i don’t think so they’re trying to like those two team the two teams that are recent kind of changing into the NHL Utah and Seattle i’m hearing they want to be playoffs next year so that’s taking a massive step back for Seattle if they do that trade yeah i just don’t like AlexiX Capit is so big too but it’s it’s basically the same as Samuelson you’re getting the similar production similar role type player right like I can see I understand the the aspect of like younger for the Sabres and Purka’s value but at the same time you have to realize like Alexiaak can play like he’s played top four for a lot of his career he played top four in Dallas he played top four in Seattle like he can fill that role it’s just a matter of one are you trying to get out of that Samuelson contract well a lot of teams realize that contract’s not great right now based on the term and two I mean Purka and the unhappiness is not like a positive negotiating power for the Buffalo Sabres either so I think it either has to be for an even not really strong negotiating power situation which is the Keandre Miller Ranger situation uh or it’s for basically a guy that uh is is a little bit older and has probably less of a ceiling than Purka which is Mac like I think Purka’s ceiling is above Mac i think Peter is going to be a consistent 80point guy where Macan’s probably in around that 65 to 70 point guy but you’re getting the kind of win now mentality and you’re also getting probably more I would say guaranteed scoring to be honest like I think Purka could be like that up and down scorer where he’s going to put up points he’s he has that skill set but okay honestly I think unless you can think of an offer I know you’ve been doing purka mock offers on X a lot do you have a Purka trade in mind or a team that would be interested in him because otherwise I believe I’d re try and I’d resign him because he doesn’t have rights yeah no I mean you’re on to something there i mean yeah I would go back to the Rangers one uh I mean the other one I’ve thought about and this is more just because of of just kind of the space they have and maybe the fit for the Buffalo Sabres i’ve I’ve seen it a couple times is like the San Jose Sharks i could see that being a situation like Mario Ferraro has been kind of in rumors for a while i think he wants to stay in San Jose uh but uh that would be one team i mean Anaheim’s another one i mean if you’re looking for a center and looking for a situation where another offers sheet candidate I mean there’s this guy named Mason McTavish but Buffalo would have to add to Burka in my opinion because I think McTavish is loved around the league and that’s why Anaheim took him third overall because he is like the perfect perfect do you think kind of center do you think McTavish has a real chance of getting traded though not necessarily i would offer Purka for McTavish i think I I I fully think you have to add i think you have to add if you’re willing to add I would do that i would add some player prospects i don’t really have much picks to add but I could do if I’m Anaheim I would do something i would even I would say hey they lost a couple veterans like a Cam Fowler and I I think they might move Trouba at some point the one hot takeake I was saying is like if Trouba does want to get back out to the east side I don’t think he would wave to Buffalo but I I I truly don’t understand the fact I know this is off topic but the Trouba part where he like waved to Anaheim after he was like so insistent on staying on the East Coast that part doesn’t make any sense to me but I guess he just liked Anaheim as a spot but on the side of like Anaheim wanting more veteran presence Anaheim could make some sense for a trade partner to get Samuelson off the books for Buffalo as well uh I mean I’m looking at Anaheim situation here i wonder about Trevor Zaggress as well i’m just saying I don’t I wouldn’t do Trevor Zus at all i don’t think Buffalo would either no I don’t think he fits what but McTavish makes some sense to me so what if it was Anaheim’s got a lot of cap space what if it was Purka Samuelson and if I go to the prospect list what if it was like Rosine um I’m just going to look look up McDavish quick i do love McDavish i think that would fill an automatic need for the Buffalo Sabres you’re overpaying again they’re overpaying a little bit but for Anaheim’s perspective they have Lucas Carlson to build around and when I look at the Ducks lines right now and like the fact that they have the potential draft selection like they could go Ryan Stro is 2C behind I said Lucas I meant Leo Carlson but um to me that makes a lot of sense and I mean this video is getting a little long here but I think like it’s kind of good to go through it but when I look at the Ducks cap space they have $ 38 million of cap space i don’t think they’d want Samuelson to be honest just after looking at their lines they got those young D that they want to play yeah but I think he can play on like the third pair with like Zelwiger or Mikov like it can be it can probably be like Lome and Trouba Mchukov and Gutis and then Zelwigger and Samuelson okay I do that i do that trade right there yeah like I actually I actually think Anaheim would consider this trade i think they love McDavish don’t get me wrong but if I’ll say this the two factors for me I don’t I’ll I’ll make the statement here i don’t think Anaheim ultimately trades Metavish but what I will say is there’s so many like wild cards in the National Hockey League if they can’t come to like a deal and Buffalo comes forward and off and comes aggressive and offers something like this like I wouldn’t be surprised i I wouldn’t be surprised if they entertained it maybe Buffalo has to add a little bit more to get it done but I mean I’m looking at Purka’s numbers purka’s numbers are better than McTavish’s at the same age yeah the same age i will say though McTavish like I said the center that always brings more value also the Ducks management is like known like Pat Verbique loves McTavish type players um so I think this could be done i mean former Bulldog so you brought excited over there riley’s getting excited over there uh if if it came down to Rosine and Austin would you do it no you get Mason Mcavic you wouldn’t no all right throw in the third round pick little little icing on the cake you’re doing this to me every time ah that’s what happened to Josh Norris and Dylan Cousins steve Stal is like “Ah throwing that second little icing on the cake.” And he was like “Ah whatever i’ll do it.” So do it what whatever third round pick boom mason McTavish is a Buffalo Saber look at that this is why I shouldn’t be a GM okay let’s go to RFAS we got to wrap this up okay so let’s do People are going to love this episode though okay let’s do McTavish what do you think McTavish coach i think Do you want to go long term or not long long i think long term it’s got to be like it’s got like I said I I went back to a few comparisons like I mentioned Gunther to the other day if Gunther’s at seven as a winger and McTavish can put up similar numbers I think it’s got to be eight plus long term okay let’s do Well I’m eight plus so let’s do 85 825 icing on the cake okay 825 for seven years cuz they didn’t have him at the deadline so yeah but he’s an RFA yeah but I think the rule is you have to have the player at the deadline uh to have the eight years okay still stay at the RFAS go to Ryan Mloud so McTavish is up there mloud where are you at with Mloud i’ve seen like five is that where you’re at i’m thinking either four and a half time four or five time five okay five time five makes sense to me okay where we at with the cap so still have $3.2 million of space and look at that that is that’s that’s a good lineup and I mean but we still need you need a defenseman yeah so Levi as well we need two defenseman really um okay i am going to trade Sam Lafery i’ll dump him anywhere for a bag of pucks again I think it’s one of those things where you either have to buy him out or you have to attach a pick to him i’d attach a pick like it’d be a six i think like teams would take him that like him i don’t know could Pittsburgh take back Laferty for a piece that they have on their team maybe a piece that makes sense for the Sabres i’m trying to think of like cap dumps around the league i can’t really think of any that need to be moved i mean a team like maybe that team that has like space like the San Jose Sharks maybe yeah I could see Mike Greer trying to take him on and then flip him at the deadline just like he did with Walman okay so let’s do that again I think it’s a you have to attach to be honest but I think maybe it’s just he’ll take Laferdy i mean that could make some sense i just think again it’s not a lot of incentive would you take one of the depth guys from San Jose like a like a Grundstrom or Dandria dar is a bit cheaper he’s only like 1.3 um that’s like that’s a bit of like a one for one cap like dump dump kind of like DeAndre put up eight points last year but he’s only making 1.3 it’s easy to bury as well i think that makes sense no no no no no no no actually I can’t cuz I gota I I want to have a I want to have a bit of a bruiser back there and he Okay well then you have to touch a pick then so okay do a seven no way no way no bro people are not you have to understand people are not doing the Sabres favors i know they’re not going to do the Sabres oilers had to attach the Oilers have to attach what a second round pick to get rid of Wman who’s like a stud in the playoffs right now not the like uh sorry not uh not not uh not the the Red Wings sorry you know what I meant but the Red Wings had to like attack you are killing me here i’m going to get killed this is why I’m not a GM folks do it i don’t care i’m telling you you have to but you have to i would rather keep Sam Laughaferty but whatever then you should have i don’t know why you were getting rid of him because he’s he’s just not welcome here okay go to RFAS i need to get Levi um just give him a rookie contract okay i think it’s just like Yeah he hasn’t had the most proof in the pudding so Oh my god you have to go goalie so yeah i mean I think it’s just a one-year deal like something 1.5 or one something like that so I’ll do 1 point i honestly think it it’s going to be shortterm something like that he’s the backup and then you’ve got you’ve got 3.7 to fill a fourth line and defensive spot i think that’s more than enough money to make a couple signings here yeah I know uh so UFA I want um Tanner Jano all right little two million action maybe i think you have to overpay a little bit for some guys again I’m sorry about flow that’s reality yeah no I get it how many years it’s got to be term yeah three years sure i am rushing a bit so no you’re rushing a bit but again I I like I said you have to pay to get in the open market i think a lot of people are going to want the Jano physicality so two times three I think is is the term he probably wants um and enough value there so then now you have seven so are you gonna are you gonna you want a roster probably of at least 21 right so you probably want to sign like Clifton with power was it the worst thing i feel like that wasn’t great but yeah Clifton with power this isn’t going to work oh Bernard Docker um power that could work that could work that was working last year i would hate if the Sabres went you know what put Bernard Docker um sign him give him like one point i don’t even know yeah I think one two for like a two-year deal sure and then so put him within because anybody can play good with Dalene and we’re gonna play Anderson that’s an ugly decor i don’t even know if that team makes the playoffs um it’s not great but it’s it’s to me it’s better i actually think it’s better i think Bernard Docker is one of those guys i think he’s going to keep getting better in my opinion i think we have such I think I think if you could dump Clifton you get you get more but here’s the thing all you need is a 20man roster to be and and then be cap compliant that’s what the Savers are right now obviously it’s not ideal you probably want at least one extra player but like they’re calling up from Rochester it’s not like it’s like across the map right so the guys are right there you really just need the 20 guys and then you you’re cap compliant with this so it’s right on the line but I think the signings make sense the trades make sense i don’t think it’s like I think obviously the Jason Robertson one is like the pipe dream and the McTavish one is a pipe dream uh I think the Calgary one’s probably the most realistic in my eyes if I’m being honest i think it looks realistic too i don’t think that Jason Raw I think I overpaid so crazily i don’t think Mason McTavish would get traded but let us know in the comments how I did how John did i think he fleeced me in almost every single deal except for maybe the Calgary one there’s no way nobody’s going to do Buffalo favors as John says but uh if we do the least favor keep going yeah if the Sabres went into next year like that Sabres fans how would you feel i mean we gave up so much i overpaid a lot i know that for a fact i think that forward group is playoff pedigree let John know in the Yeah that decor is definitely not though let John know in the comments how badly he uh made me overpay on every single deal and uh yeah let us know but I think the two factors for me is that forward group is very dominant and sexy i think the defense group Buffalo fans you finally have three left shot NHL Dman and three NHL right shot Dman i think that’s a huge factor i’m higher on Bernard Docker than maybe the average guy so I think to me I think he could improve and I think the fact is Dallian Power and Rasmus Anderson are well above average top four Dman in my opinion as well so there’s that going for you if if Lucin and Levi can figure it out in net I think you have a wild card team here also I’d like to add that uh I would save myself probably a half a million somewhere if I redid this and I would get Dennis Gilbert for that third pair of lefty because he’s like a 850k but uh yeah let us know if you want to see
