Peterka will require more value coming back than cozens, that should put it into perspective
That offer of bath and zetterlund for peterka gets laughed at, someone else in the league can beat that
Guys you can’t continue trading 1st round picks in trades, we already gave away several top picks in trades that could have helped us.
Peterka would be great addition – but the cost will be too high, not to mention a bidding war with 30 other teams (primarily Toronto who could use him greatly)

Peterka would be a fantastic addition. Right that wrong from 2020 when he should have originally been a Senator.
Taking McKinney at 21st OA would be a reach, but a prospect that gives Pinto vibes… yeah… as a mid 2nd rounder… great (safe) addition.
What is the obsession this fan base has with Peterka? Ottawa doesn't need another small soft player who won't be able to handle tough playoff hockey. People were so happy we got Zetterlund & he was going to do all this scoring & we got nothing from him so far. I would much rather go after players who will be able to handle playoff hockey like Brock Boeser or Brock Nelson & can put up pts. Look how the Panthers target the skilled small players, they will do the same to us & we will do the same to other team's small skilled players.

If you want Peterka, you have to give up someone you don't want to give up. So I'm out.
Batherson and Peterka both had 68 pts this year. Don't see how swapping them helps us in any way. Adding Peterka would be a wet dream but would involve Zetterlund, Perron, Yak, our 2025 1st, and more. But even then they wouldn't want our scraps
Pass, almost invisible every Buff game ive watched. We need tough playoff guys, not flashy reg season guys. Sens need to lose their pretty boy image.
Love your podcast, but you're delusional if you think giving up 50+ goals, 110+ points and a first round pick for a player an Rfa that "might" give you 40 and 80 if things go right. Batherson and a first for JJ and a 3rd at most otherwise the value just isn't there.
