J.J. Peterka could be that piece that makes the Robertson trade make sense. Buffalo's 9th OA is much more valuable than Montreal's 16th and the Sabres have far more spare parts to complete the trade.
Habs fans trying to figure out why Dach and a 6th isnt enough for Robertson. Dumbest fanbase in hockey.
For something like that to happen they would need to move on from the Laine contract so they would still have a crack at a center july 1st, ( and no not dump him ) would have to be at least 1 NHL ready prospect this year 2 first rounders , just to start moving that needle

Mailloux still has yet to get a good look in the NHL and if he hits it’s a guy you may regret trading away especially for a 6’3” guy that doesn’t play like one
