It’s a devastating loss. No other way to say it. 3-1 lead and we sit back… because that’s ever worked before… moments like these decide a series. This loss really fucking hurts.

Well just like I thought, the Boys came out flat after the layoff, but Edmonton's worst game of the playoffs, was still better than the Panthers best. I'm thinking four straight. No way Edmonton plays that bad again.

This is a game we should never lose and the first one we have lost in awhile when we are up 2 and leading in the 3rd. We played great the first 40 minutes and then sat around for 20 minutes. Realistically we should have won 3-2 in regulation but oh well. The first 5 minutes of OT looked really good and then we stagnated. Nosek can't be having that penalty as well. We should have had a 2nd OT until we tossed it away.
That being said I'm not too worried. It's a long series and this team always bounces back after a loss. Pomo never fails with adjusting the game plan after a loss.
We need some less offensive PK, got them killed on ice

What I'm personally puzzled by is the fact how some fans are way too cocky and confident about the win and celebrating like they won the cup. It's still way too early to say what happens in the series..and this was a close game. Neither of the teams were CLEARLY dominating the whole game…and for example Barkov and Chucky didn't give their full potential yet.

Maurice is full of fantasies and wishes. It won’t be seven games. Edmonton hasn’t played their best yet, while panthers played the same status quo (maybe even better than status quo), with the wicked diabolical cheaten refs doing their part (especially the evil beast Wes McCauley)
Don’t think panthers expected to win four straight so no panic in an overtime loss in the first game in the other teams house.
We gave up several soft goals, were out shot for much of the game other than the 2nd period and the beginning of OT. Blowing a 3-1 lead is just hard to handle.
It was a terrific game. Nobody's at fault. It's good sports. Be prowd of entertaining the fans. I hope it goes to overtime in game 7. Then everyone is a winner. Good Hockey, Good Fan Involvement.

At 3-2, the Panthers played only defense. It was too early in the third to do that. They were holding back.
Nosek made a mistake but the guy only played 9 total mins in the whole game. He shouldn't have even been in that situation maybe. I don't know why these guys fumble fuck around with the puck deep in their own defensive end when they could just clear it down and get the icing call. We were winning the draw for the most part all night. I'd take my chance on winning the face off over trying to trust getting a turnover against their team in our zone. Dumb penalties have been hurting us all year, none as much as this one. I feel bad for the guy because you could see it was killing him but it isn't all on him; we shouldn't have been sleep walking through the 3rd period. We shouldn't have given up a 2 goal lead. We should find a KILLER INSTINCT someday because without one, we continually do this to ourselves. That said, Oiler fans can celebrate the win just like the Leafs fans did. Look how that turned out for them???
