    The kind of players who like to play for Carolina are typically less than elite, but definitely defense-minded team players. They do exist, but they don’t make headlines.

    There isn’t much concern over “will he want to be a hurricane” if he signs here long term. Part of the problem with Mikko was that they couldn’t get him to commit long term. If Mitch on his side is willing to sign for 8 you have to expect he’s well aware of his desires to be here. You just don’t sign that deal as a player if you don’t think so. Even if the money is slightly higher than others.
    He could take less to be in Vegas or florida like many others if he wanted.

    I agree with the comment below Go Get Tage Thompson. He is Young, Big, Fast, and can Score!!!! Plus he will be less money then Mitch take the rest of the money and get a Goalie.
