I grew up in Boston, then moved to Colorado in 88. When the Avs (Quebec) came to Colorado, they became my new #1 team, but I still love the Bruins. So when Ray came here to help the Avs win their second Cup, and then watching Joe hand the Cup to Ray – it was such a great moment as a fan of both teams, and especially of Ray.
It wouldve been a waste if Raybo got sent to Philly. The Flyers are the American version of the Maple Leafs, will never win a cup in any of our lifetimes who saw this clip. And the Av's were absolutely stacked before #77 got there. Peter 'The Great' was my favorite player outside of Boston
As a fan of the Bs, I was stunned when Ray was traded…but happy for him when he got to raise the Cup. Sinden will always be a good guy in my heart cuz he did Ray a HUGE solid. Bruins-Bourque…forever synonymous
